Description


TAINO

Ability: Guatiao
Type bonuses from allied City-States are doubled.

Unit: Macana
A recon unit unique to Taíno. Replaces the warrior and retains its earned Recon Promotions on upgrade. Upon eliminating an enemy unit, earns Faith equal to half the Combat Strength of the defeated unit.

Infrastructure: Batéy
An Entertainment Complex replacement unique to Taíno. Buildings within this district provide +1 Amenity. Allows the city to start the Areyto Ceremony city project, which provides +1 Influence points per turn and Great Person points for Great Writers, Artists and Musicians upon completion.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS
This mod is for the Civilization only, and as such will require additional leaders to play. Please click on the image links below for additional leaders and other options.

BUG REPORTS
This mod has been bug-tested but if you do experience any serious bugs, please provide detailed information in the pinned conversation below.

MAC USERS
This mod may not be compatible with Mac. If the databases do not match (due to a delayed update from Aspyr for example), any issues will likely be caused by the fact that we might be referencing a game_effect in this mod that doesn't exist yet on Mac databases.

LINUX USERS
You may experience bugs, crashes, and other weird and wonderful things that come with trying to use Linux for gaming. If you find that this is the case, unfortunately, this mod will be incompatible with your Linux system.

the Macana unit got only 1 instead 3 or 4 and when one dies for few sec ther is no unit thens come back again as just one

Oof, loved this civ ages ago, but playing with true start YANMP is a killer, as without the ability to embark units, I'm stuck on an island for 150 turns on epic, with no place to put down a campus.

Would it be possible to make them able to go into the sea from the start? So they don't stay stuck in their starting location for multiple turns on Saph's America map.

the Macana doesn't seem to get exp from goody huts and discovering things like a recon unit should

Great fun to play. But I must ask: is it intentional that the Batéy does not give adjacency to Theater Squares like a normal Entertainment Complex?

hey sorry if this is a silly question, but by "allied city state" do you mean city state you have suzerainty of ad not just one you send envoys to. I am like 90% sure that is what you mean but just double checking.
