Mi-8 (Hip)

Russian rescue helicopter Mi-8MTV-1 (also known as Mil Mi-17 Hip) in EMERCOM livery.

Features:

• Water fuel system (off by default, fill up the tanks first by just landing on water and only then enable fuel system)
  
• Control switch (pilots can switch between taxiing, flight and searchlight control)
  
• Multiplayer ready 2 pilot seats (both can switch control mode)
  
• Smart Altitude Meter (will show you rad alt only if you over the ground and lower than 250)
  
• Smart Auto Hover (will keep altitude when throttle is not used, on by default)
  
• Realistic cockpit with red backlight (buttons and gauges doublicated from both sides like IRL)
  
• Airspeed can be shown in km/h (on by default)
  
• Visual and sound warnings (opened doors, low alt, low fuel)
  
• ACL (navigation, anti-collision and taxiing lights)
  
• Wide cargo doors
  
• 1 medical bed
  
• 2 winches (cargo with magnet and side with harness)
  
• 5 crates can be placed in cargo bay
  
• 6 passenger seats

Controls:

W/S: Throttle
A/D: Yaw/Steering
Up/Down: Pitch/Searchlight
Left/Right: Roll/Searchlight

1 - Autohover
3 - Wheel brakes (on by default)
3 - Switch control mode
4 - Searchlight

All hotkeys have buttons on the panel.

Harness controls are:

1 - Winch Up
2 - Winch Down

Work is still in progress:

• Proper searchlight control
  
• High speed warning
  
• Low altitude warning

Known issues:

• Jumping on spawn due of original suspension
  
• Problems with tooltips for right side indicatiors (waiting for the fix from devs)
