Darth Vader - Rogue One

4/27/2018 - This project has been abandoned.

From the final scene of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" as Darth Vader emerges from the darkness with the only light coming from his red lightsaber.

ah ok...I tried photoshopping Vader and adding him as a separate layer (same with saber) but it was really hard to do this

That was already there I think. I just added a light source to brighten it up. I only remember adding smoke to the bottom/floor area.

how did you get the smoke behind him

I added light to reflect of the walls and ceiling and also the smoke behind him. The original image is much darker so I added red light sources. I also animated the lightsaber ever so slightly. And lastly I believe was all the smoke which I couldn't get to loop properly.

what did you do so far? I made the lightsaber vibrate a bit with sparks flying off it, tried to isolate vader so I could have smoke coming from behind, and was trying to make the light around the lightsaber flicker.

I'm afraid not. I lost the files months ago when I formatted my drives. Otherwise I would have completed it myself. If you do make a new completed version, let me know.
