GCCM2: Custom Assets

Description
What is this?
This is a compilation that includes:

  • 50 buildings restored from TW:W1 that CA only included partially in TW:W2.
  • Collection of custom decals made by Maruka.
  • 5 custom buildings by Frodo45127 (those flammenwerfer gates are one of them).
  • 64 Kislevite-Style custom buildings by Maruka (those used in Fort Ostrok).
  • 4 custom buildings by Maruka.
  • (For modders only)All siege buildings (gatehouses, towers, walls,...) unlocked in Terry.

And why I should need this? (as user)
This compilation is intended to serve as a common resource for modders, so if any modder wants to import his map from TW:W1 to TW:W2 without having to replace missing buildings in his map, wants to use a custom building or wants to use a custom decal, they can just put this mod as requeriment of their maps instead of having to reimport all these assets into their own maps (which in the long term it'll cause a lot of incompatibilities).

And why I should need this? (as modder)
Because you'll be able to import your maps from TW:W1 without any missing buildings. Plus access to custom buildings and decals. All of that without having to do complex stuff like reimporting all the assets into your maps pack file, reimporting and filtering the tables of the new and restored buildings,.... And when you finish your map, just put this as a required mod in the workshop and relax.

And how I use this?

  • As an user: Just subscribe to this mod, and left it enabled. Nothing more.
  • As a modder: Download this (delete the . in me.ga for the link to work): https://me.ga.nz/file/Hpw3AaqD#2vCy8pb4lsTJD7TQuyVGPkGYve3q74TONv_-9cfKkaQ. It's an special version of the mod that will load in Terry too, and it doesn't show up in the launcher. Just download it and extract the packfile in "Steam\steamapps\common\Total War WARHAMMER II\data". Just remember this file will make your game incompatible in MP, so move it to another place if you want to play MP. Also, this one comes with some goodies for mappers.

But this isn't going to break my game, isn't?
This should be compatible with every mod in the workshop, included those that change the range of the towers. In theory.

And what If I made my own custom decal or building and I want it in this pack?
Simple. Send the files to Frodo45127 and we'll add them to the pack.

On its own this doesn't do anything. It's a pack of assets for other mods to use.
