This is a complete remake of the first map I uploaded to workshop, gm_desertdriving, this map has been remade but keeping the original map size and elements as features. This map has all content included such as Models, Materials and Sounds - so no errors should be seen while playing on this map.

The map features:
- an underground build area with garages, these garages have area portals to help the builder not render the world.
- two underground elevators to the surface for vehicles to travel up
- a credit advert at spawn with author and tester information
- a large airstrip, two hangars and a enterable Air Traffic Control tower - the airstrip also has a running pattern for effects
- a radio tower and shack to the top right of the map - non-enterable just details
- A silo with a Control room, the control room features a monitor which can be switched between cameras, an alarm for the silo if you want to launch your own Scud missiles, and a silo door which can only open once due to technical issues with reversing animations - to close the door do an admin cleanup.
- A 3d skybox and fog to help the map look more real
- Sand dunes, bumpy terrain and realish terrain for vehicles
- An extremely high skybox for aircraft to enjoy the heights and get the maximum out of testing
- A harrier that flies by the map every 10 minutes

UPDATE #1: 11/10/2017
Optmization has been improved alot due to issues on servers, this will hopefully improve the experience for players - for max optimization, i'd suggest removing the buttons for the silo door and making sure the silo door is shut with the elevator for the control room being at the bottom rather than the top.

Added - models unrendering after 8000 units to allow maximum FPS

Fixed - Ladder in the Silo not working
Fixed - Shadows for certain foliage props
Fixed - some rocks being out of place

UPDATE #2: 15/10/2017
Tweaked - adjusting lighting in the garages, underground area and surface
Tweaked - making cactus' fall over due to force or damage
Tweaked - numbers for garages
Tweaked - changing the poster to an updated version
Tweaked - fixing the wall under the rotating advert
Tweaked - making streetlights fall due to force or damage
Tweaked - making the elevators on the map close after 20 seconds
Tweaked - silo door will now close after a minute of being open
Tweaked - door material removed due to it replacing other doors on other maps (Thanks WEGA)
Tweaked - Smoothed some terrain on the west side of the map
Tweaked - Flag will no longer fade
Tweaked - Boulders have a greater distance for fading out
