Description
This mod allows all factions to liberate any other faction. Liberation allows a dead faction to be resurrected in locations where they started, making them an ally. Works for both player and AI. Some dwarf factions cannot be liberated.

@Beardedgamer Sorry to hear that. Maybe you have some other mod active that conflicts with this one?

@krasus i tried liberating knighths of caledor but their settlement won't give me that option after i win the battle against skaven (mortal empires)

@Beardedgamer Yes, but it must be core settlement of a faction. Most often their previous capital. That's how it works for me.

Is this mod supposed to give me the option to liberate a faction after i conquer a settlement in the post battle screen? Cause i'm not getting any liberate option :/

There's another mod I use that gives an option afterwards to vassalise.. I'll try remember later which one

Liberated factions automatically become military allies. The liberator should have the option to choose the type of alliance (defensive, military or vassal). I've had my newly liberated 1-settlement faction declare war on the strongest faction which prompted me to end the alliance, thus turning a welcome strategic friend into an enemy.

On top of that, when the player liberates a faction, the liberated faction doesn't enter war with the player's enemies, while offloading a hostile border to an ally is often the main purpose for liberating to begin with. However, if hostile AI liberates a faction, the liberated faction does become the player's enemy. That's just not fair.
