This mod adds the Brigand Kingdom led by Grieth, as seen in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia to the base game of Civilization.

UA: Rambunctious Bunch
Population yields more unhappiness (40 percent), but unique luxury resource quantities are increased by 50%, and Golden Ages, albeit 25% shorter, grant a 35% combat bonus and 1 extra movement.

UU: Cutthroat
The Cutthroat is a powerful standard melee unit during the Classical Era, much stronger than the Spearman and Warrior. They are very useful when attacking early-era cities. They gain gold upon kills.

UI: Bandit Hideout
A Hideout can only be built on city state territory and siphons resources from that state.

Strategy:
The way I designed this civ to be played is very selfishly and very aggressively, the AI will hoard luxuries and gold to both sustain its armies and keep its inhabitants happy, it's meant to represent what it's like to be at the helm of a group of rowdy outlaws. I wouldn't recommend expanding too hard early, but getting the UI off on a few resource wealthy city states and pleasing your citizens will give you a very strong Golden Age boost. Use that time to either eliminate your enemies fully or rush their capitals, as the Golden Age is a bit shorter due to, again, the rowdy nature of the bandits.
Training a slew of cutthroats (without needing the Iron a Swordsman needs) and expanding during the Golden Age is recommended, as is scoping out the map early for city states and escorting your workers with a combat unit is nigh mandatory, as you'll really want to get your value out of them.
Lastly, as far as policies go. Honor will only make your units stronger, but going Liberty (with the city expansion now axed in the new update) certainly isn't a bad plan), especially since one of the policies in it grants a free Golden Age, granting you two in a row if you play your cards right).

Tl;dr: Have a turtle mindset when it comes to city founding, prioritize military, gold and primarily happiness and use the Golden Ages to its fullest.

Final Words:
I have tested this civ on both Prince and King difficulty on smaller maps and bigger maps during both Quick and Standart game speeds, and feel like this is the optimal setting to play it on. It might be a bit harder for newer civ players, but I always try to slightly change the way players have to play to use my civs in the right way.

Definitely needed more FE villans in my fantasy FE worlds of Civ5. I'm sure Grieth will make a fine addition. Thanks much~

On part of the dialogue I sadly must agree. Despite specifically playing through Act 2 again to get a better understanding of his mannerisms and speech I found it extremely difficult and draining to write Grieth fun dialogue, maybe it was some fatigue that came by from continuous modding. I do plan on polishing up my older work in aspects it could us it in though, so who knows :)

Amazing work as always; I just wish he had a bit more unique dialogue since his own 'style' of dialogue really doesn't match the default diplomacy dialogue of CIV. Ah well, beggers cant be choosers I guess. Thank you for the mod!

That's ... Actually a typo, you can see I did spell it correctly in the Civlopedia after all, I just copied the UA text in this description from how it appeared ingame.

Trust me, I playtested this one extensively, and with the city states around and your own expansion penalty now removed there's an abundance of resources to go around if you're willing to prioritize them. That's what I really meant with "Hoarding", I might've been a bit unclear on that. I appreciate the feedback on the mod, but at the moment I'm happy with what it's become. There's also the issue that with your initial request I'd probably have to look into lua and I have already moved onto another project, though if I find in future playtesting that you were right after all I will change it.

It doesn't unless you have the policy for it otherwise all beyond the first don't do anything and while it does let you trade more it doesn't make sense if you what hoarding to have them trade alot.
