This particular ship is designed as a medium shuttle to operate in zero gravity, around gravity wells, and in atmosphere. As such, it is built around a hydrogen system powering twin vertical thrusters to help when hauling cargo under gravity. Can operate with just a single pilot and there is also an optional 'gunner' seat on the dorsal side, immediately aft of a gatling turret. Both seats are connected to oxygen.

Operating as a transport, there are two side 'rumble' seats and a set of clamps beneath the tail for transporting small amounts of cargo. Internal cargo space is limited, the design depends on the clamps for transporting large quantities of materials and equipment. Four hardpoints on the nose can be modified with different equipment. Rocket launchers are standard but can be swapped for guns, cargo pods, engines, sensors, or left empty to save weight.

DIFFERENCES: Very similar to the 'B' model but designed to be a shorter, slimmer naval variant that can fit into a 15m x 12.5m x 10m carrier/starbase airlock. As a result, it is 2 meters shorter and 1 meter narrower than the DS-37B. The smaller dimensions result in a lighter ship however some tail-mounted thrusters have been removed in the retrofit. The cargo clamps have also been reconfigured slightly.
Compared to the 'C' model, the wings on the 'D' model have been expanded to make room for twin large atmospheric engines. Overall mass increased by about 10,644kg from extra engines. Able to cruise in atmosphere for extended periods of time without hydrogen!
