Description
the large and small torpedo mod (origional and latests supported linekd below) exept i went in and removed some 'unenecary' clutter blocks and blocks that wernt needed on small ships to enforce large/small ship diversity (and save server sim speeds). primarily went and balanced the mod tho, as origionally it was rather overpowered and underpowered depending what you were looking at.

- main atmo and ion thrusters output reduced to 1/3rd origional
- booster and lateral thrusters output reduced to 1/5th origional
- build cost of all blocks ROUGHLY halved.. which also
- reduced weight of all torpedo blocks by half
- slightly tweaked damage values so heavier and/or layered armor can stop smaller singular torpedos, forcing you to think about stacking extra explosives or firing more torpedos if your using smaller ones (makes ya ENGINEER them)
- variouse balancing on other blocks

the wieght reduction but more severe thrust reduction means they still handle GREAT but dont hit world speed limit instantly. this also makes the thrusters less overpowered when used on actuall ships instead of topredoes, however it is still viable as a low profile small-manuvering thrusters in either large quanteties or on smaller ships however not as efficent as proper origional thrusters. HE nose cones are more fragile but have a bigger blast then the payload warheads, while the penetrator nose cone has a high weight and armor value to take rounds and 'penetrate' the ship.

tweaked power consumption of some thrusters and output of some blocks. aswell as the capabilitys of blocks like sensors, gyros, and mass blocks. payloads are now less efficent and capable then hull segmants.overal all torpedo blocks are 'less efficent' from a survival standpoint then there stock counterparts however could potentially fulfill a void on your ship and compact your desighns when needed. renamed some nose cones and thrusters, removed low profile thrusters for large ships and the non-low profile ones for the small. when i get aorund to doing some more rabalncing for my coming soon server ill get back to this and redefine those 2 manuvering thrusters so there the same block just different sizes.
FOR EXAMPLE: 1 manuvering thruster puts out more thrust then 1 ion thruster. but 2 ion thrusters will put out more thrust and consume less power then 1 manuvering. all topedo blocks do the same job for more power, and the torpedo reactor consumes more uranium per KW then a normall ships.

other then balance testing and messing about wiht the numbers for a fyew hours, all credit should go to the origional dev, and those who have supported it.

- redo block groups for the g-menu to prevent clutter and increase ease fo access

while this mod was origionally private a server cannot use this even off of freinds only so ive set to public purly for use on my server and am no way claiming this as my own iteration of this mod, just my own adaptation via rebalancing some numbers and components

in short: was over a year ago so the steam chat and my memory of it are long gone.

ive stopped playing SE due to issues i wish to not go into (some opinions, some technical issues). i believe the way our convo went was that i had no intention on joining there team, however was absolutely happy to hand over the new numbers for them to rebalance there version. (considering the armour values of the game have changed 3+ more times since i left i doubt those numbers or this mod are still balanced.)

hmm after thinking about this a bit... i have sent you a friend request so we can talk about this outside of the commets section. however i the short version is i would prefer if you just come join the mod team that has sort of grown up around this mod. and bring your balance numbers with you. this will make it so there are not so many versions of this out there. and the original mod has needed someone to do this since day 1. add me to your friends list so we can talk about this.

i have noticed some decent content added to the main mod however will likely wait a bit and update this and my oki mod with major content sometime in the future.

also since this mod was mainly for private use (as i did not get permission from the origional dev for a proper reblanace mod) its the kinda thing i wont update till i actually come back to SE.

Would you consider making a new rebalance of the current updated MKII version of the torpedo mod? I would love to see one, as the main one is completly unbalanced.
