Aetherius Magic: Beta 1.2

Description
NEW UPDATED VERSION HERE: http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=223940166

This is the very first mod I have ever done. However, it is nowhere near completion, but I’m exited to find out if the steam community thinks I’m heading in the right direction. Please leave commits about how well or poorly you think I’ve executed the infancy of my mod’s development. Bear in mind that this is a beta, and its only purpose is to receive feedback.

This is going to be a lore friendly mod, with maybe a few stretches of the truth for better emersion. For now though, the main concept I want your attention on are the spells that you're going to learn. There are 24 spells in all with one lesser power. How fast I improve, add to, and create new aspects of this mod depends heavily upon how well you fine people enjoy my hard work. I had a lot of fun making these spells and I hope you have even more fun playing the game with them.

Some of you will probably say that they are over powered. This is not always true. I play on the hardest difficulty with mods to make it even harder. So even with these spells the game can still be challenging.

For those of you that only read bullet points: (myself included... some of the time)
* 24 new spells that are very powerful with a reason why you learn them
* 1 lesser power that enables you free unlimited magic
* 1 book that allows you to learn all 24 spells and the lesser power
* Lore friendly story told in the book to explain why you obtain such power
* More emersion to come with a quest line to follow that leads you to the book

As of now, there is no quest yet that leads you to receive your new found power. Please do not commit on how I should have made it that way. Feel free to recommend, however, on ways you think would work well and be a cool way to do it. I already know how I’m going to execute it but maybe someone will inspire me. :)

BOOK LOCATION: The book is found in Whiterun’s Dragonreach upstairs area to the left from the entrance. Even Though the video shows you where the book is found, I'll make a better description on where the location is because there have been several people that have had trouble finding it.

1. In Dragonreach, take the only stairs up to the second floor.
2. Go passed the table with the map on it and take a left onto the balcony overlooking the fireplace.
3. The book is at the far end of the balcony.

The book is written by Zurin Arctus who was the first imperial battle-mage under Tiber Septem’s rule. That was something that was not written in the book so I’m telling you here. Everything else you’ll find out soon enough I hope. There is a ton of lore that is going to be added of course. I spent hours reading Elder Scrolls lore online. But for now, you’ll know enough to understand the purpose of the book itself and the spells within it.

Not as many people have subscribed as I had hoped; perhaps a list of all the spells and what they do will convince more people to try it out. I also posted a video that previews some of the spells. please rate aswell. :) It will make me happy if I get five stars with this beta. YES! 5 STARS AT LAST... UPDATE COMING SOON MY FRIENDS:-)

First of all, I would like to say that this is the best mod I have ever seen, I can tell that just from reading the discription. Good show!
I am going to pass on this one for right now, due to the over power concerns you mentioned, because mostly, I don't know how to play on highest difficulty, Legendary. I have been playing on Master for awhile, with Better Combat Ai mod.
I would love your advice on whats mods to get, and how to build a Legendary character, and if I had that knowledge, I would use this mod in a hearbeat.
As it is, I enjoy Apocalypse Magic of Skyrim, Midas Magic, Tactical Spellcasting I think, and find them balanced for Master and my jack of all trades playstyle, in combination with magic tree overhalls that make things like mage armor actually work. At any rate, keep it up, and if I ever feel like playing on Legendary, I will certainly use this excellent mod.
