Description
This mod seeks to add a cosmetic alternative for each of the vanilla T3 plasma weapons.

FEATURES:

  • Mercenary Plasma Rifle and attachments.
  • Mercenary Plasma Pistol.
  • Mercenary Plasma Shotgun and attachments.
  • Mercenary Plasma Cannon and attacments.
  • Mercenary Plasma Sniper and attachments.
  • Mercenary Plasma Sword.
  • Mercenary Plasma Spark Gun and attachments and new weapon fire animation.
  • Mercenary Plasma SMG and attachments and new weapon fire animation.
  • Modified FX and sound effects.
  • UI icons and stuff.
  • Same stats as the vanilla plasma weapons.
  • Configurable stats and prices.
  • Russian translations by resonansER.
  • German translations by Zyrrashijn.
  • Spanish translations by Fritz125.

HOW TO ACQUIRE:

Once you buy the vanilla plasma weapons, the corresponding Mercenary Plasma Weapon will also be added to your inventory.
They do not replace the vanilla plasma weapons.

HOW TO CONFIGURE STATS:

Stats are configurable in XcomMercPlasmaWeapons.ini
Legendary prices configurable in XcomStrategyTuning.ini
Should be found in "\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\1139260682\Config"


KNOWN ISSUES:

The fire animation for the SMG might be a bit glitchy on female soldiers, nothing big, the hand might just clip a bit through the foregrip.
The soldier's hand clips through the smg while on the Avenger.

Please post any bugs or glitches and/or concerns in the comments below.

COMPATIBILITY:

This mod should be compatible with most things.

When i change the weapons stats, mods like robojumpers squad select, cost-based ability icons and extended information stop working.

just thought I'd mention that the Merc Spark Guns lack the Armor shredding of the standard ones, not sure if this is intentional or an oversight, but it means that using them means my Sparks are less effective.

the Mercenary Plasma sword has a strobe effect that kinda hurts my eyes, is that normal?

Hi, these weapons are great, but for some reason the main weapons are missing some maps (i guess) in my version. The all have flat colors, no appearance of a surface interacting with light. The hero weapons are all perfect. Any ideas why this might be? Thanks in advance 🙏

I kinda wish there was a replacer version of this because these guns fit XCOM's faction aesthetic much better than the default beam weapons.
