Description
A map set in a quaint, once-peaceful European village.
The sun sets on these scarred streets, and perhaps also your lives...

This map is in part meant as a thematic update/replacement to my old DeadTown map, so I've taken that down and replaced it with this.

zeds coming from the water stream gets stuck. and plz fix the damn music.

Hi, I played DeadTown today on a server, and I was shocked. It was the first version of Riverside?? It's so much better, and completely different outside of shallow appearances.
DeadTown has an actual layout, it's big, has many branching path that meet up in memorable spots, it has an unique identity with the very tight door blockades and after a couple rounds we found a kite route that worked well but still hard enough to wipe us on wave 10. It's very fun. It's what's missing to so many community maps these days: an actual layout to have good gameplay on.
On the other hand, Riverside is too small, just a few street, basically a big square map like meowremake and such, it's too easy to camp, it's got nothing to offer honestly.
Please put back DeadTown in the workshop.
Both map are so drastically different in actual gameplay that there's no reason not to have both to be honest.

Great map, there is something wrong about music, it stops and start, weird thing, but otherwise map is great

Great map, I too wish there was less zed spawns everywhere around the map but we worked around it. We did the map with controlled dofficulty mod and found a place where the zeds had trouble pathinhg causing them to get stuck in the river to the right of spawn. You can see it in this clip

+1 Pretty okay, detailed outside map, no complexity to it means boring but easy to kite.
-1 - Broken/Fractured music, ruins the pace. Needs Fixing. Graphically intensive, Needs an 'Up'/ 'Down'

decent map, sound bugs are annoying tho, some pathing issues espaciallywith those scaffoldings

Great map - but there does seem to be an intermittent sound issue where the music will cut in and out.
