Airstream Industries is now releasing our own proprietary Light Industrial Vessel Hephaestus to the public. After all, we want our customers to have the best. Hephaestus General Industrial 171 is ideal for colonization, construction and mining with small crews. What sets Hephaestus apart is the inclusion of a proprietary integrated manufacturing SV. This greatly augments ship manufacturing capacity and allows for unprecedented on-site manufacturing and processing. Integration is made easy with our patented DoorToDoor airlock and docking system.

Though neither is a combat vessel, they are built with hardened steel and armored glass so they are rugged and have basic defensive weaponry. (All outer hull is hardened. Some purely internal areas may have regular steel to reduce cost/weight.)

The integrated SV has a groove in the bottom which fits a guide rail on the CV so that the doors align when docking. The fit is perfect but the games clipping is not. Somtimes you cannot get through the doors because of a strange angle etc when objects were allowed to clip through eachother. It's easy with practice and the best way to dock is to have both vessels oriented (o key) and use 3rd person. Make use of the left alt to rotate your camera view and guide sv onto guide rail. If there are problems, undock and reseat. Holding down o while backing up to dock and sometimes down help to get correct door alignment.
