I want to start a animation studio that creates traditional hand painted animated movies.

There is something magical about hand painted animations that modern day animations aren't able to recreate in my opinion, if you look at modern day animations all the scenes are laid out crisply and clearly with perfect architecture and perfect everything which doesn't leave much room for imagination.

If you look at animations from the 70's and early 80's nothing on screen was anywhere near perfect like the animated movie fire and ice for example...

the only reason the animated actors for the movie fire and ice looked so good was because the scenes with humans were all rotoscoped and then pasted over the painted background. (rotoscoping is when you film live action scenes with a video camera and then you just paint over the people to make them look like they are hand painted into the scene)

I watched a disney documentary the other day and it made me want to create an animation company. i can be the background painter we just need a character animator to solely animate characters and someone else to fill in the animated characters with color. the sound and music aspect always comes after the animation is finished. that is really all you need to create an animated movie. that was all the disney animation studio was when it was first conceived it was just a few guys.

i know more than likely no one is going to respond asking if they want to join the studio but if there weren't people like me who have an idea and want to bring it to life and ask other people do you want to get in on this? then nothing in this world worth a damn would be created.
