Welcome riders, to “Mountain Rescue”! You have just been recruited to join Team Alpha, the most elite search-and-rescue unit in the entirety of the Rockies. When conditions are exceptionally difficult, Alpha receives the call. And on this cold night in the harshness of winter, conditions are most definitely VERY difficult. A call has come in, and there are some lost climbers out there who need our help. You’ll be supported by every resource the organization has at its disposal, from snow mobiles, to ice climbers, and even aircraft. Do you have what is necessary to set aside your fears and doubts, and do what it takes to save human lives? By the end of the ride, that answer will be clear!

1. Leave the in-game time set to 6:00 am, this is critical for certain lighting effects on-ride.
2. In Audio Settings, lower the sound effects to 40% (But do not turn them off!).
3. In Graphics Settings, make sure V-Sync is turned ON (this has a big effect on audio sync)
4. Set graphics to a level where your machine can maintain very close to 60 fps. It’s important to not drop too many frames, for the sake of audio sync.
5. Do not ride in test mode. Please ride with the ride open and guests on board.
6. Do not speed up time, including at the very start of the ride (When I’m fast-forwarding to get to a departing train, I try to enter 1x speed the moment the gates open so that none of the ride is sped up by the time the train is moving)
7. Ride in Car 1 Seat 1.
8. SAVE the park immediately before riding. (This prevents the game auto-saving which causes sync issues)
9. In the event of a breakdown, let at least 3 trains go before riding.
