SW Alien Head Pack 04: Scum and Villainy (WOTC)

Description
THIS IS FOR THE WAR OF THE CHOSEN EXPANSION

A collection of alien heads from various gangsters, bounty hunters, thugs, spies, and mercenaries. There are a total of 8 species: Gamorrean, Gand, Gran, Kubaz, Neimoidian, Nikto, Trandoshan, and Weequay.

The heads are available as Props under the Helmets/Hats category. Each head is available in both tintable and fixed texture versions, with the Nikto and Trandoshan each featuring a second fixed texture variant. Skin tint has been set to the Armour colour palette to provide a range of skin tone options. Additionally, the Weequay head has a hair option available under the Facial Hair category. Because of clipping issues, this just uses skin weights instead of physics. As such, there are two versions available that have been positioned to conform to the armour. One to suit Tier 1 Conventional/Kevlar and Tier 2 Plated armour, and another to suit Tier 3 Powered armour.

An invisible head is available via my SW Alien Head Pack Extra - Base Heads (WOTC) mod, which is a prerequisite for this mod.

Recommendation:
If you wish to further enhance your experience, you may wish to also download my SW Alien Voice Pack.

Notes:
If you are importing characters from a pool that used the legacy/base game version of the mod, those customisations will be broken in this version of the mod. The two different versions of the game have necessitated unavoidable changes to part template names to avoid clashes when both versions of a mod are installed. You will have to remake your characters in the editor.

The heads currently have a mixed degree of facial animation. I may attempt to expand and improve this in future updates.

The Weequay hair will likely clip badly with 3rd party armour mods. There is also likely to be clipping with certain heads, especially the Gamorrean, with such armour mods.

The skin is a bit bland and lacking in detail when using the tintable option. The source textures were only a dismal 512x512, so there wasn't much to work with. The skin materials may need some tweaking in a future update.

I may include some alien hands for several of the species (and possibly feet for the Trando) in a future update. I may also add a female Nikto head at some point (none of the rest have female versions).

Acknowledgements:
Original mesh and texture content derived from the Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO. All rights belong to EA/Bioware and Disney.

I learned a lot by poking through the contents of other people's mods, such as [GWJ] Kexx and Dor, to see how things worked, as well as reading various tutorials and forum/Reddit posts by the likes of E3245. Many thanks to them and the rest of the X2 modding community for their help, direct and indirect.

Background content in some pictures features elements of Long War 2 by Pavonis Interactive.

ah, ok got it. If you could help me find some of the body models for the species (especially the trando) on this pack then i'd really appreciate it.

No. It's a head pack. There are already SW body model mods - including TOR stuff - by other people.

just wondering if there will be an update with body parts and armor to this mod?
DrDCB  [author] 20 May, 2022 @ 9:53pm
Because the only female model for the species in this mod in TOR is the Nikto, and it looks ugly as hell - https://i.imgur.com/Z3HfXmH.jpg

can you make the body armors aswell please?

I would love to see some more added like the Sith purebloods, Nautolans or maybe a full body Talz. Even maybe old republic trooper armours from swtor. This is one of my main mods i always get when playing this game so it would be sick to see more added :)

I don't do Battlefront ports. And I already have my own alien voice pack.

Hey, I would love more Battlefront II ports!
I am the creator of https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1740288747 and I think it would be neat to do a voice set for every character you have created and will create.

As to appearance frequency, no, the mod has no control over that.
