there are tutorials on youtube "how to gmod dedicated server" "how to use ulx gmod"
for example, then you know how to set the gamemode and set usergroups

On what gamemode should I be? And how do I know what's the difference between cliant and server console? Look I don't have anything against you, I just plan to make an rp project.

make sure to type it in server console, not client console
if f8 dont open the menu, you may in sandbox gamemode
