(HDY) Kaga Strike Carrier

Description
The Kaga presents a change in HDY's combat philosophy. While earlier warships specialized in direct ship-to-ship engagements, the Kaga is designed exclusively as a Carrier. Her armor has been reduced in order to save costs and weight, while her armament has been optimized for anti-fighter engagements.
The Kaga is designed to conduct strikes against enemy fleets and installations. In an attack, the vessel would deploy its wing of Bombers to engage the primary target in strafing runs while the Kaga's Interceptors draw fire away from the Bombers, delay enemy strike craft response and cover the Carrier from a possible Bomber strike.
Due to the Kaga's vulnerability to attack, the ship will be required to be escorted by Frigates, Destroyers or Cruisers at any given time to maximize the ship's effectiveness. However, due to the extreme range of a Bomber strike, the Kaga will be able to damage opponents while staying completely safe from retaliation. In fact, if employed to its maximum potential, the only real threat to the Kaga are other Carriers.
In the early days of the Sol Rebellion, the Kaga saw conflict for the first time. Three Kagas were gifted to the Belt Liberation Forces and were modified and renamed into Independence, Freedom and Justice. These vessels would conduct guerilla warfare within the heart of Sol, some attacks even directed against Luna military installations. During their servivce history, over fifty kills are confirmed to have been scored by this feared "Phantom Fleet".

AUTHOR'S NOTES:
Although my ships are conveyored up, the ammount of cargo space may prove to be a hindrance in survival. It is therefor recommended to play with 10x inventory space or just in creative mode. The conveyoring is mostly for balance reasons!

Currently, the hangar bay cannot be pressurized. Please make use of the airlock leading into the hangar bay. Hades Driveyards cannot be held responsible for physical or psychological injuries resulting from misuse of the airlock.

Yes sure, as long as, if you publish them, you credit me as the original designer of the vessel. also you will likely need to drasticlly increase the powerplant size. Currently she runs on only two small reactors and a lot of batteries if I recall correctly.

Wow so would it be OK to modify them to work with Ion ?

@eaglegundam: Since my ships are mostly designed for use in creative mode, so I mostly opt for them for their awesome looks and superior power. Lore also plays a role. I am contributing to Antialr's and k_medlock's lore project, in which HDY favours old, cheap, proven technology (hydrogen thrusters = fusion drives) over ACI's high tech high cost approach (ion thrusters = quantum vacuum drives). So that is another reason why I use hydrogen propulsion.

Love Your ships but one question Why Hydro Thrustrs?

50 SHIP kills not personal killed. Also this is purely lore I have written so don't take it as a promise ;)

Only 50 kills for an entire fleet? A spaceship is usually crewed by hundreds if not thousands

That is true way better than an escort

@Cruiser Maya: Nope, not so much. But at least she is not an Escort Carrier (only Kantai Collection fans will get this joke).

@parkasever: Thanks for the kind words man, I always appreciate it. I will now check out your newest build, the thumbnail I saw looked impressive ;)

@Cruiser Maya - Check it out for yourself. I've counted 6 fighters inside the hangar and four bombers on the deck. This ship is well thought of and has a nice, sturdy space carrier look to it.
