Septimbitz - A new shop & Quest giver in Whiterun

He gave me no quest, maybe next time.

Brakes all vendors dialogue options after trading with them. Its a really enoying bug.. I had 120 mods I had to go through before i found that this was the one causing it.

REad through hopin g someone had my error but no joy. I did quest but it did nit recognize completion of quest. I killed ye ole dragon and looted his belly for quest items, but it never credited me with doing so. I have the rings but it wont let me return them to whoever was suppose to get the goods. I like quest and his shop ( all my merchants will occasionally force me to view inventory not just you merchant so may be a conflict with another mod and not you bad. Had his voice ok outside but mute in bar. no other problems but would like to finish quest please.

I just played it last night. There is no dialogue and as soon as I finished the quest, I could not give the items to him and so his shop did not start in my gameplay. Overall, a good quest and a nice shop.

Thanks for the comments...I was thinking of DLing this, but too many bus still.

Sorry I had to unsub, not only did his dialogue only revert to 'for sale' so did all the other merchants in Whiterun :( Hopefully you can sort this bug, as I kinda like the shop and the guy!!!

Founds loads of bugs, I'm afraid:
1) After asking him (which was the first I did) what he had for sale, all the other options disappered. So basically, I have no way of doing the quest.
2) He engages me automatically. So everytime I pass him on the street, I have to stop and see his inventory.

As 2) is kinda annoying, I've had to unsub which is a shame, because I really wanted to play the quest.

Lastly, a point you may want to change - although not a bug - is the chest. I didn't take me 10 secs. to pick his pocket to get the key and simply empty his chest... not sure if that's the intention.

Thanks, I have follow the tutorial and taking a bit liberty from it. The dialogue bug come from the fact that there are no record dialogue. I tried to do as they say in the tutorial, recording 10sec silent, but it didn't work. If anybody know!
