Its ok.
the first half is really boring, but second half is amazing. Combat is...♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but this is a 2009 game what do u expect? And ofc playing this after K2 is a bit odd, so its all makes sense. Minigames are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ too, I've gone nuts on golf for example.Its worth to play on easy just to follow the story, as I did myself.
If this game will ever have a remake on Dragon Engine its gonna be reaallyy good

Majima saga is literally perfect, I was happy to play as him again. The game itself is very pretty, there's a lot of content, minigames and ofc amazing OST. Plot is somewhat ♥♥♥♥♥♥ near the end tho, it could be done a lot better but I won't really judge it since plot was written in 2006, K1 had particularly same mistakes.
Would love to 100% this game if not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Mahjong or Shogi, i literally learned how to play Mahjong bcs of this game but it didnt really help :C

We didn't go on a date with my boy Majima after having a good time at the cabaret club. I'm really disappointed.

Best start to Yakuza series.
I don't understand people who are starting the series with Kiwami, because if you start with 0 you can understand characters more. For example, you won't think that Goro Majima is an insane maniac, but a pretty down to earth man.
The game itself is VERY good and its understandable why is it so loved by fandom. Deserved.
OST is.. amazing. I really like t u s k , Kuze theme and Reign (just ingame ver. with a guitar, ITS SUCH A BANGER OH MY GOD)
I'm in love with long battles mostly bcs of the soundtrack, its so relaxing and fun kicking asses while listening to a banger
