Main game: DARK SOULS

Pros:

- A classic from the PS3 brought to PC with (minor) overhaul, but still noticable
- Beautiful in its own way. The architecture, world design, lore and atmosphere work really well together
- Exiting enemy roster, and always a certain way to counter them.
- Great soundtrack.
-It all feels really rewarding, like going from 5 to 4 attacks after you leveled feels like a big improvement, beating an annoying or hard boss really makes you feel like you did something

Cons: oh boy

- Game is well kinda janky and rough to play through if you're not familiar to soulslikes
- Bosses and their respective areas are either a hit or miss, for me 65% is a miss.
- Most of the standard enemies are boring, and either useless or annoying
- Second half of the game was done very quickly since they we nearing a deadline which is such a missed opportunity considering that they are the most interesting and beautiful areas IMO.

Artorias of the Abyss DLC:

Pros:

- A DLC by Fromsoft you already know baby that just screams quality.
- Architecture, nature, and interaction is top quality and interconnected
- Routing/runbacks, bosses are beautiful, cool and very memorable.
- The bosses themselves, their themes and respective areas are dynamic, varying very nicely done.
- Mobs in the world are actually doing something unlike in the base game. The gardeners are actually gardening, the golems are actually patrolling/guarding and the residents are just chilling with their people. All of this really makes he world feel lived in.
- The lore implementation is done better in the DLC than in the base game. Interaction with the npc's is really nice, connected to the world and told very well.
- More of a personal thing but it's really bite sized and doesn't take 10 hours to go through. So even though it's way less content, I think the 40 bucks is worth it more than the base game.
- It's actually challenging and has doesn't drag on forever when it is.
- The most popular place for PvP/Online gameplay.

Cons:

- Not even about the DLC (kinda) you will probably never find out how to enter the DLC yourself which is kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ but hey everyone has Google.
- When underleveled it could be very overwhelming. But if you actually enter it with a doable SL you'll make it (I recommend SL80 - SL100 maybe even SL40 if you're ambitious)

*note: just the DLC alone is completely worth it in my opinion.*
