the dungeons are more fun the boss fights.

all the bosses have attacks you cant dodge at all. the draconic tree sentinel has a lightning attack you cant dodge unless you are the most lucky person in the world. also no its not a matter of skill when half of you health dissapears for a stupid reason. and the hitboxes are absolute garbage. this is worse combat than nier automata. they need to remove all and any attack you cant dodge unless its supposed to add to the combat. and if so you are supposed to be able to midigate it. im not going to search. TOP 10 WEAPONS for an op one shot sword. and better yet some bosses are unbeatable without an insane shield or specific weapon. this is the worst game that had a good idea. there is a good map good puzzles and good systems. would not recomend


edit: its even worse. i found commander niall and he is some of the worst boss design i have ever heard. extremly hard because all you can do is poke and run until he dies. i have nothing great to say as all he does is spam his abilitys with no downtime and no dodging either. He has no reason to exist in the game and his minions just spam even worse. i know i was severly underlevel but i dont care. he should atleast just not be a boring ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of spam and run. even the draconic tree sentinel has better gameplay even tho he has an instant undodgable attack that deals more then 80% of your health. the devs need to learn that making bosses isnt just making them hard asf while forcing a specific way of defeating him. they should have just removed his ice spin attack and replaced it with more lightning styled combat. atleast with the other bosses they have a short pause before and after some attacks this boss just has room for 1 poke after a very specifik attack.

The dragons have a really specific fire ability that is almost impossible to dodge. the game is just a run through a bunch of enemies and defeat boring boss. the dungeons are more fun then the bosses. this game is supposed to be hard and it is but not in a fun way.

in a game like ultrakill (made by a dumb indie dev) there are really hard bosses but every single attack is exploitable in some way. the bosses that are hard have less exploitable attacks and you need to fockus on dodging the attack before you attempt to shoot. in this game you do the same but instead with a heavy hitting and powerfull attack you just give them a paper cut and do that until he dies. why is attacking fun in ultrakill but just annoyingly stressfull in this game? because all you do is a risky small attack that you cant make any riskier or easier. i know its supposed to be in one difficulty but that dosent add to the fun. just to the gameplay. they arent the same.

when you defeat a boss you are supposed to feel good that you overcame an obstacle but instead i feel like i just got the luckiest any% speedrun. i dont feel like i got better overall but just better at that specific moveset and that it dosent matter that i defeated him. (i understand that it does feel like a good and fun game in the first half but that is all there is to it.) this game did not deserve game of the year. it is far from a master piece.

edit2: i met another boss. the god devouring serpent. he has an undodgable attack. the bosses are still ♥♥♥♥.

edit3: i met maliketh, he can hit through walls hes a good boss but hes made bad by the mechanics of the game

if you can't defeat a boss you have a skill issue :steamsad: :steammocking:
