Never forget that you matter. Eat three times a day, drink some water, and get rest as it's due. (Expand for MGS Quotes)

"Life isn't just about passing on your genes. We can leave behind much more than just DNA. Through speech, music, literature and movies - what we've seen, heard, felt.. anger, joy and sorrow.. these are the things I will pass on. That's what I live for. We need to pass the torch, and let our children read our messy and sad history by its light. We have all the magic of the digital age to do that." - SS

"War has changed. It’s no longer about nations, ideologies, or ethnicity. It’s an endless series of proxy battles fought by mercenaries and machines. War – and its consumption of life – has become a well-oiled machine. Genetic control. Information control. Emotion control. Battlefield control. Everything is monitored and kept under control. War has changed. The age of deterrence has become the age of control.. All in the name of averting catastrophe from weapons of mass destruction. And he who controls the battlefield.. controls history. War has changed. When the battlefield is under total control.. War becomes routine." - OS

Welcome!
Hi There. I’m Nature, and welcome to my profile. :luv:

- I really like warhammer. When I say that, it’s not really enough. Like, I REALLY like warhammer. And protogens. I like warhammer and protogens. Weird mix, I know. :DWdeathwing:
- I also like RTS games quite a lot as well, mostly because I enjoy slaving in front of a screen for several hours just to make 500 yards of progress. :secretweapon_hoi:
- I am either friendly or inherently hyperactive. Whichever state you choose or not choose to meet me in, so be it. :steamhappy:
- I can either be really wise or pitiably stupid, please have mercy. :demoticon:
- I like the gym and exercising. I also like trying to learn as much as I can. We can’t know everything, but we can still try to know a lot. Even if “a lot” to us is theoretically speaking, just a speck to everything else time and knowledge wise. :KCDIISlash:
- I LOVE military stuff. I do not exactly enjoy war, but I do enjoy military forces and how they operate. Though, I'll be honest. I also really like war games. :bayonets:
- I am willing to take responsibility for my failures. If I am not doing so, I am unwell and I apologize for my behavior. :flagrally:
- I am nothing to brag about. I’m just like everyone else, and good at odd things in between.
- Orthodox Christianity is quite nice, though I have many friends of all kinds of belief systems and standpoints! ☦︎ (IC XC « NI KA)

~ What are some things I dislike? ~

- Degeneracy. Your behavior is your choice, but deliberate sexual degeneracy is simply lust. Lust will burn you hollow, devoid of whatever you can muster, and then when you can no longer feel the touch of the people you yearn, it will leave you cold. Pursue a love that will keep you warm for a the rest of your life, and if you want to have sex with them? That is your choice. Just please, marry or commit first.
- Idiocy. Ignorance is bliss in a way, but blatant unwillingness to know or acknowledge problems in the moment shows a lack of responsibility and makes you look really stupid. I used to have a responsibility problem and it cost me a lot, please don’t repeat my mistakes.
- Negativity. Despite my occasionally crass or generally blunt opinions and comments, I actually don’t take any pleasure in negativity. The world is negative, but it is truly up to you to make it worth living in. There are many beautiful things around you and me for us to explore not just together, but on our own as well. Consider this before letting negativity and depressive thoughts take control of your mood and dictate your life.

~ So what do I have to say to you, traveler? ~

Be a simple, yet refined being. Don’t judge those, even for the terrible things they do, for they will reap exactly what harvest they’ve sown. Nowadays, it’s hard for people to just move on. We’ve bred a culture of hate and toxicity into our newest generations, and we’ve let go of being reasonable or considering that people are different. See the good in people’s hearts - yet see them for what they are. If a man is an adulterer, he is an adulterer. If he is a murderer, he is a murderer. You can state and see an objective truth, but to go as far as to condemn them and say they are a “terrible person” is simply no longer our place anymore. It never was.

Find yourself a love that’ll warm you for all your days - or don’t. Burn yourself cold with only blood to warm your hands if you wish. You should absolutely your life as you see fit. My only request to you is that you just don’t judge people as if you were some higher authority, yet be blunt enough to see people as both their good and bad parts while still giving them the respect of a person. In layman’s terms, please just be an honest soul if any kind of soul, no matter what heinous deeds you may commit.

I may never know you, but I will always love you.
Do be safe in this vast world, be brave.

Audentes Fortuna Iuvat. :KCDIIHelmet:
Quotes from Diogenes of Sinope
Diogenes of Sinope, a prominent figure of ancient Greek philosophy, is known for his unconventional and often confrontational style. Some of his most famous quotes include: "In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face," "Why not whip the teacher when the pupil misbehaves?," and "I am not an Athenian or a Greek, but a citizen of the world." - Diogenes of Sinope, the founder of Cynicism, believed that people were "weighed down" by societal conventions and unnecessary possessions. He championed a life of simplicity and self-sufficiency (autarkeia), believing that true happiness and freedom came from detaching oneself from worldly concerns.

- "He has the most who is most content with the least."
- "The noblest people are those despising wealth, learning, pleasure and life; esteeming above them poverty, ignorance, hardship and death."
- "What I like to drink most is wine that belongs to others."
- "The foundation of every state is the education of its youth."
- "I am called a dog because I fawn on those who give me anything, I yelp at those who refuse, and I set my teeth in rascals."
- "If I were not Diogenes, I would also wish to be Diogenes!"
- "When asked what was the proper time for lunch: If you are a rich man, whenever you please; and if you are a poor man, whenever you can."
- "The art of being a slave is to rule one's master."
- "I am searching for an honest man."
