If you are reading this review you are probably very late to the Rust hype and want to know what you are getting into before throwing $40 into facepunch's greedy hands. I will go through and describe the aspects of this video game.

About Rust:
Rust is an open world PVP survival game. You start with a rock and farm up and get guns to fight with and material to fortify your base. PVP is not planned as it can happen at any time, you are never safe.

Goal:
So you might be wondering what to whole goal of the game is and honestly that is a tough question to answer as there are many things you can choose do with in a Rust wipe. Most try to farm a lot of material to build a big base and PVP a lot to build of their stash of weapons, Some do either or. There is a lot more that you can do in Rust instead of playing the game as intended, You can roleplay. Examples of how people roleplay; Owning a casino, running a taxi service, running a airport, running a hotel, and being a hit-man.

Vehicles:
Rust has many different vehicles that players can operate such as minicopters, scrap helicopters, cars, and the new trains.
Rust vehicles have very very few bugs, the glitching back and forth when standing on top of a scrap helicopter.

Item and object design:
The Facepunch team clearly put a lot of effort into the design of this game, every little thing is very detailed. Facepunch was not lazy when it came to detail is places that are not seen by players often.
Detail rating 9/10

PVP:
Rust PVP is simple you die you lose everything you have in your player's inventory, so don't die. PVP in this game is unrealistic expect to hit more shots on an enemy and not kill them then you would in most other shooters. Armor in Rust is essential for surviving fights, when you are naked almost anything can one shot you straight to the head.

Graphics:
So that graphics in this game get to a very high quality, I wouldn't say realistic. The Rust graphics settings allow you to change the quality of certain items and aspects of the game, If you don't have the best PC Rust allows you to change graphic to a lower setting so you can raise that more import item. The rendering distance in Rust isn't great, even with the most ideal graphic settings and fov, object rendering distance is still close enough. You might not see the enemy you're fighting when they start to run away or The base right in front of you when flying a helicopter.
Graphics rating 7/10

Overall this is a very solid game and it is extremely addicting, so be prepared for long nights of straight no life Rust to look at a clock and see It's 5 am and you have work in two hours not 11:30 the night before. I tried to cover the most important part giving not bias detail about the game. I do recommend 10/10 and feel free to contact me if you still are iffy about buying the game and you have more questing. Also, check out my steam page for guides for Rust and other Games.
Good Luck!
