How facestabs work:

It happens when an enemy turns really quick in a direction, and the latency correction assumes they will turn further than they do. Since the game can’t take your input information constantly, it has to fill in the gaps, which it does by having a class continue to do what they were just doing. For a class running forward, this works fine because the player is probably still running forward during the gaps. But when it comes to fast, subtle mouse movements like trying to keep a Spy on screen, the game assumes you’ll continue to turn while it waits for the next input, so your correction arrives late on the server end, and you get stabbed in the face

Conclusion: It is not a facestab on my screen because i turned to your side which makes it a side stab. However, you are registering it slower so it looked like a facestab. Facestabs, in reality, do not exist.
