After playing around 1000 hours on all platforms, I can surely say that warframe has a lot of pro's and cons. I cant tell you if the cons out weigh the pros or vise versa but i can say this.
The developers have some things that they need to work on, there are multiple things in this game that turn people off, especially new coming players that are interested in what this game has to offer.
Warframe has so much content that it could almost feel overwhelming.
The massive wait times to actually acquire new items is literally absurd. 3 days for a warframe that took me a week to farm for, f* no. New players leave after finding out how much they have to wait for certain things. Its actually ridiculous.
The story is mostly uninteresting.
Farming is excruciating and time consuming.
You have to buy slots just to have things you already grinded for, wth.
But aside from all of those cons, warframe is an amazing free to play game, nothing is behind pay wall AT ALL, only thing that you have to buy are certain cosmetics (but not all)
You can choose to either farm, or just take it out of your wallet, and keep in mind, that is YOUR choice.
They have many different modes and missions, and Open world. Fortuna, cetus, deimos, Railjack, etc. Its pretty fun, and even though people complain that its a long grind to level up all of those open worlds, why is it really a problem if you are sucking in the games content?
There are many customization options, and the game really gives you a gateway for creativity and what type of tenno you want to be.
There are so many cool and different builds for your weapons out there.
Generally there are just amazing people on warframe and they always want to help you. Ive been playing since 2017, and ive only met a few rude people on warframe.
