The game's RPG elements are well implemented. The skill tree is extensive, allowing for significant customization of your character. This level of customization adds to the game's replayability as different builds can lead to markedly different gameplay experiences.

Soundtrack deserves a special mention for its contribution to the game's atmosphere. The music is haunting and evocative perfectly complementing the game’s tone. The sound design, in general, is top-notch with every slash, spell, and enemy noise adding to the immersive experience.

Salt and Sanctuar might not appeal to everyone. Like other Soulslike games it can be unforgiving which might deter players who are looking for a more casual experience. Additionally, the game's 2D platforming sections, while generally well designed can occasionally feel clunky especially when compared to the smoothness of the combat.

RITE is a hidden gem in the indie game universe, showcasing what can be achieved when simplicity meets perfect execution developed with a clear love for classic platforming mechanics.

The controls in RITE are its standout feature. They are incredibly responsive and precise, which is crucial for a game that demands such accuracy from its players. Every jump and movement feels fluid and intuitive making the gameplay experience extremely gratifying. This level of control precision is a critical component in creating a fair but challenging environment.

Visually, RITE goes for a minimalist aesthetic which works wonderfully. The clean and clear graphics ensure that the player’s focus remains on the gameplay. The use of vibrant colors against more muted backgrounds isn’t just pleasing to the eye but also functions as a practical design choice clearly distinguishing obstacles and platforms.

The soundtrack is subtle yet effective with each track complementing the game’s rhythm and flow. The music adds an additional layer of atmosphere to the game without ever distracting from the core platforming action.

If there is an area where RITE might fall short, it could be its replayability. Once you’ve mastered the levels there might be little incentive to return. However for those who relish beating their own times or scores there is still some replay value to be found.

The combat system in Katana Zero is both fluid and satisfying. The protagonist's ability to slow down time adds a tactical layer to the gameplay allowing for breathtaking moments where you slice through bullets and dodge attacks. The game constantly throws new challenges and enemy types at you keeping the gameplay fresh and engaging from start to finish.

Visually, Katana Zero is a neon-drenched spectacle. The pixel art is meticulously crafted, with vibrant colors and dynamic lighting effects that bring its gritty neo-noir world to life. Each level is not only a visual treat but also enhances the game's immersive storytelling.
Katana Zero's soundtrack is a perfect match for its fast-paced action and stylistic visuals. The synth-heavy music ranges from pulsating beats that amp up the adrenaline in combat sequences to more somber tones that underscore the game's darker moments. The sound design is impeccable, with every slash and impact feeling impactful.

One minor critique could be the game's length; some players might find it on the shorter side. However the replay value is high, with secret paths and different approaches to each level encouraging multiple playthroughs.

The controls are tight and responsive, allowing for precise movements as you navigate through challenging levels and obstacles. Each chapter introduces new mechanics that keep the gameplay fresh and engaging. The difficulty curve is expertly crafted, providing a satisfying challenge.

The soundtrack deserves special mention, as it complements the game perfectly, enhancing the emotional impact of each moment. The music, composed by Lena Raine, is a beautiful blend of atmospheric melodies and energetic tunes that perfectly captures the mood of the game.
