Bought the game even though all the reviews seemed depressing. I gave the game a chance and it seemed alright until I started building my own things. The controls in the building mode feel sticky and the controls are all wack and I can never get the angle i need and I waste a bit of time trying to get the parts back to normal. Would recc waiting at least a few months... nvm no devs

So my story with this game is kind of strange. It started off as a game (Metro) i heard about in 2019... on console. When I got Metro I remember sitting down and playing through the first two parts of the game. Getting the train and dealing with the first natives. After that I wasn't able to come back to the game for awhile. Until now. I was sitting around here in 2023 and thought I should buy metro again. So I looked.. It seemed to be on sale. So I bought it. At first playing the game was rough. The issues with the game crashing and the beginning is kind of rough. So, I pressed on later that week. I started getting further past the point and it gave me a greater love for the game. I admittedly got sucked into trying to survive. Of course the game crashes still plague me. Finally though some emotional stuff happens we lose some of our crew. I thought we would be inseparable but, now they're disapearing on me. I kept on though pressed to get our dream. Then finally towards the end. The sacrifices made broke me. Then it turned out that because of how much i pressed the people I killed directly led to the death of me when I needed them the most. I died. She got her dream but we sacrificed many people and ourself for this. It broke me.

Thank you for the meaningful ending and I hope to achieve the others

So far this game seems pretty cool and I would love to support it. Other than the first part of this game appears to be mainly

"Go do this, grab this, and come and do this"

I've seen a fellow player who's a bit ahead of me play and it appears more content is there but when I start it seems awfully slow. I guess I appreciate the learning that it put's me though to learn the game before going deeper. I would like to see the game get as advertised graphics because as it sits. The trailers look insanely good.... And the game doesn't look anything like it. From a free game. I guess I could say that it's fair for the graphics to fall short, until funding comes. Also, I will add this.... Don't get me wrong. The graphics are fine. It's just from what I've seen it looks nothing like the trailers or other peoples game play and I'm on the max settings.

Another is it says the server is in the USA but me and my buddy both get 120-170 ping....

Either yall got some crappy servers or you're not hosting in the US. Or both. The bad ping isn't noticeable for me in the beginning however i've heard the more you go on and the bigger battles/parties you do it's noticeable


Till I play more I will add more. Orrrrr I lost interest and don't add more

Also I got a quest where this sick lady needs flowers and there are 8 people sitting by her... Sitting on their ass and it's my job to pick flowers!! WHATTT?! I mean I need the xp I'll do it

Honestly one of the best games i've played fr

A great open world game. Difficult to master. But once you get the tools and skills you need it's extremely fun. Even at higher levels some people will pose a difficulty. Great story and everything

Lovely game. Great destruction physics. AI is a bit questionable. It could use some work. But it's as good as it get's!

Great game. Just remember. It isn't a bug. It's a feature HE intended to have in the game. There are no exploits.

It's a truly lovely game that can be very addicting. Once you get over the learning curve in order to actually up and running for the first few times. I mostly spend some time in the sandbox mod playing with certain ideas before I try a full on world to go for the grind. Only because of this learning curve. I honestly have to look into youtube videos just to figure out how to get some of the important parts and features to work. Love the graphics though the UI for the inventory and stuff can be a bit small i am sure there is a way to change that, that i haven't found yet. Also tonsss of mods

My addiction grows. I can feel the game calling me back. I can feel it gripping me into it, calling "The factory must grow!!" Blood is spilled as i kill off the native population... Their screams bring music to my ears. After all, I'm smarter, stronger, faster then them all. I will dominate worlds... why go back home when I could become a god?

Hah i thought buying this was a mistake and this game was bad. But, After seeing MW3. Now I know. Now I know MW3 is worse. Thanks for SPMM, the dumbass progression. Your AI game. Your "3,000 devs" and copyright issues. Real nice one. So, Can I get a refund? I tried to refund this game but I couldn't because just trying to play the game on launch took 7 hours and I couldn't refund. Thanks for robbing the world of billions

At first I didn't know if I'd buy it. Ended up seeing was on sale and quickly paid someone to gift it to me. And I can't stop playing it. There's so much to do. It's a truly a master piece. Needs some work. And need some sort of optimization. Even then it still runs well on both my systems. My ryzen 6800H laptop with a RTX 3060 Can play it with 50-60fps on medium- high. My desktop is a Ryzen 9 5900x with 32gbs of ram and a Red devil Rx 6950xt max settings plays it with around 90-100fps. By no means is this game for lower end systems. But, the map is beautiful. Theres a lot of freedom that I love. The story is good. The choices I can make is wonderful. Over all I don't see myself getting tired of this game anytime soon. Gun play is nice. The only thing that I have a suggestion is to fix the police. If I commit a crime they don't really come after me. I can basically walk away. They don't chase me or enter their cars. The seemingly violent citizens don't care if you crash into their car. They just cuss at you. Sometimes after playing the game for a long time I need to restart because it starts lagging on my laptop. Another issue is sometimes there's a lot of people. Then none.
That's all. I don't expect a whole lot of difference between the different character options. I think having unique dialog is enough. And it could be rather difficult to add more to the story. For choices. I've realized there isn't a huge effect with out my choices effect the story. But, it is indeed enough for multiple play thoughs. When i play more I will update my review if nessary

Finished the first play though and on my second. I have one issue where when I do the love mission with rouge she won't get in my car. I have to own one.

So i minus well list out the bugs I have with the game

1) performance bug seemingly hone
2) Saving takes a long time and sometimes takes minutes.
3) some mission dialog is broken and require a restart or multiple reloads or something to fix.
