As a player that hit today (29.07.2023) 1000 hours i can recomend this game for people who likes survival games. The game offers us a lot of possibilities such as building base, fighting bosses, exploring much and even more. You can even play other gamemodes than survival if you want, all you have to do is download some mods. You can play with friends or alone. Also i would recomend you wait for sale beacouse game is lot cheaper, after buying the game you will get copy which you can give to your friend. First time might be hard so DON'T GIVE UP you just need some time (for me it's took about 270 hours to learn basics of survival and everything).
Speaking of basics i will leave some liks for youtubers that can help you with faster learnig about the game.
Game also have very extensive lore wich not finished yet.
