I have 500+ hrs on console, and just wow.. I've never been let down more by a game or it's design direction. This game's core combat was ruined by thoughtless overhauls and reworks, that have devolved almost every single match into thoughtless spamming of near-unpunishable options. Not to mention the absence of cross-save.

Ubisoft's laziness and their neglectfulness to community feedback shines through in For Honor. As somebody who has been following this game since it's reveal, I can not recommend supporting this game in it's current state.

i can say with 1500 hours on console that the frustration is there but it is not mindless spam and unpunishable nonsense. if you actually learn the characters then they have counters. shinobi for example, seems uncounterable to new players but is very easy to punish once you learn how. the reworks do seem a bit lazy and lack of cross progression is definitely another downside so ill give you credit there. but the game is not as terrible right now as you make it sound
