This game quickly became one of my favorites the moment I played it.

The combat is a lot of fun, each class has a variety of moves that can be swapped mid-run (not mid combat), there is also a unique mechanic: stress, which basically acts as a second health bar, enemies can inflict stress through some attacks or a party member can gain stress by interacting with certain objects outside of combat, stress can be healed some abilities in combat and out of combat, it's interesting to have to focus on not having a party member take too much damage and also not be driven insane.

There are some negative reviews that complain about RNG, however, most of it can be negated once you unlock trinkets to put on your party members and get good team comps going.

Another thing that I like about this game is that you are always making progress even if things are going bad, even if you retreat from a dungeon most of the time you will have resources to upgrade the town, you still need to get xp for your party members so you shouldn't do it too often but it's good not to be stubborn if things are going bad.

Lastly, the art style in this game is fantastic.
