This game has a high learning curve and can be punishing at times. Playing it solo is a struggle especially in the very beginning. Thankfully the community regularly has groups that are willing to help newer players learn the game. I've sunk a good amount of time into it over the last few weeks and I went from hating most of it, to being hooked. There have been some updates recently that helped re-tune some of the AI, which has helped a ton as a solo. Still some AI that can see through all cover, and doesn't seem to miss, but it's much better than it was. Really just takes some time to understand which areas you can handle and which require a bit more strategy/gear.
