While I can't play this game for a long time, I keep coming back to it again and again and I can't put into words just how much I enjoy every minute.

While "Children of Morta" is nothing too special story wise, the game is designed it a way, with lots of small decisions, that make it something I have never experienced before. Of course, the graphics are well done, as is the sound but outstanding is the way the story is told. The narrator is amazing and maked the whole thing feel EPIC and the fact that the story is not only unlocked by progressing further in the dungeons but also randomly in between is a nice extra. There are also additional, bonus events you can find in the dungeons, making every run much more interesting.

I also absolutely love how the characters/ the family works. You do unlock more and more characters the further you progress and every one of them level up on their own. Every few levels you unlock a family perk that affects every character. Meaning that you have to play with each of them if you want to unlock all of them and give all characters certain bonuses. In most other games this might be discouraging but in "Children of Morta" all characters are actually fun to play. In every other game I would have just played the archer or similar ranged character but her I actually enjoyed playing the melee characters more, which surprised me.

The fighting style is also really well done. Every dungeon run is different and there are many ways to make modify how you want to fight by using trinkets and other artifacts.

I can only recommend you try this game out for yourself! :D
