while i think the campaign is nearly perfect, it starts to fall off RAPIDLY.
while in the campaign you can do side quests which give you pass skill points and extra idol slots, however, you can only get 15 extra skill points and 8 extra idol slots, so i ask, what is the point of completing the rest of the side quests? they give virtually zero xp and gold, by the time you reach level 40 or so, your character will need up to 80k exp, and one side quest usually gives around a thousand, and there arent very many to begin with, its laughable. the endgame is praised by a lot of people, as most games like this have really bad endgame when they launch and i suppose in that regard last epoch really isnt that bad. however, monoliths get old extremly fast, its just the same 50 or so maps, if even, with no changeup whatsoever. leveling also significantly dropped after around 75. the only thing left to do at some point is to farm for certain gear, which takes an ok amount of time but just isnt fun whatsoever. the arena is a nice little challenge from time to time but it really only depends on your gear whether you get into the leaderboard or not.
while i mostly said bad things about this game so far, i still thinks its great and has massive potential. the leveling experience up to 60 is fantastic, the progression with gear and skilltrees is really smooth and fun. the forging is fun too but its not very well explained to new players, even tho it can be done extremly early on. i wish you were able to change mastery classes too, as you never know if you will actually enjoy what you have picked, until youve done it, but maybe theyll change that in the future.
all in all. the servers got 10x better, the game is actually playable now and is extremly enjoyable, my main gripes come from the endgame and some minor stuff here and there, the first 50 or so hours are extremly enjoyable tho :))

dont buy it.
dont get me wrong, its fun. but its NOT worth 8 bucks.
the dlc gives around 4 hours of extra playtime, which is a shame first of all.
it doesnt have any difficulty to it whatsoever, and to be quite frank, its not as fun as the main game/other dlcs. it just doesnt really give you much of a satisfying feeling compared to the others.

good game but man, the canada arc is the most unfun ♥♥♥♥ ive done in any game. ONLY fetch quests for about 2 hours. go there, do this, come back, go to this guy, get this item, kill this, and so on. this is the only time in the game you get quests like these and its for no reason whatsoever

absolutely fantastic. nearly nothing wrong with this masterpiece. an 87 on metacritic is proof that "critics" dont know ♥♥♥♥.

depending on what difficulty you play on, the game can take you from 3hours up to like 10, and its honestly really fun. i have essentially nothging bad to say about it, except the fact that i sometimes have to pause for some time since i really lose track of whats happening and have to think about what im actually doing xd. id recommend this game for a short but very nice experience :) hopefully theyll add more content soon aswell.

i have never seen such an amazing game with such a stupidly bad shop.
