The game is very difficult in a way completely unique to this game. The way you navigate and observe your surroundings is the real difficulty of this game. Where as in elden ring its mainly about the bosses themselves being difficult. A very fun experience playing this after elden ring. A definite must play.

The Second best rouge-like ever next to The Binding Of Issac. Perfected balance and mechanical depth. Every time you play a character you learn more about the strengths and weaknesses and learn that almost every card in the game has a use. Unlike Issac which some items are complete garbage. The funny part is I've only ever learn ironclad. But im sure the other characters have just as much depth. Slay The Spire 2 gonna be GOTY.

Elden Ring was my first souls-like game and my experience was all over the spectrum. With being the angriest I've ever been playing a game, to the most excitement and joy I've ever had.

Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree reawakened that very same feeling all over again when i beat the game a couple months before SOTE release. The vistas are breath taking as in the base game. The bosses just as rewarding and challenging (exception to a boss ill mention later). Exploration is What really makes this game amazing. You can entirely miss whole areas hidden and tucked away in the world and unique weapons and armors, which you can and should experiment with.

In conclusion, this DLC is a must play. Go in completely blind and don't look up anything for the best experience.

Spoilers Section -

The part about a challenging boss I want to mention is the final boss of the DLC, Consort Radahn. In my opinion if he was an optional side boss It would be fine with his difficulty. But him being mandatory to beat the DLC make me wanting to replay this DLC hard to convince myself. His AOE attacks bring my game down to 20-30 fps and make it almost unplayable. That AOE gets tied with most of his attacks in his second phase with very little way to know where they are and when they will hit you. That plus he is just a reused boss from the base game. This one boss does bring my enjoyment of the DLC down a lot. Besides him the rest of the bosses were really well done. Maybe except for Commander Gaius. His dash attack is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid and undodgeable.

Early Access Review
Amazing fast paced shooter where speed is rewarding and secrets are everywhere. All the levels have there own very unique and cool vibe that make exiting the starting area feel like exiting the vault in a fallout game. The secrets are defintely worth going for and the secret levels are just phenomonel. Truly a game where the less you know the better. Combat is the most engaging for a first person shooter i've ever played. Not to mention the awesome guns that all feel very useful and usable. Experiment on what works, I particularly liked the ricochet pistol. A must play if a fan of shooters and fast paced games. There is no ending yet though just be warned since its in early access.

Though I think the hype around Elden Ring Was, (And still is), Justified. My experience with this being my first souls-like title was great at times, and unpleasant at others. My biggest issue is the balancing. I think them making this type of game in an open world setting makes it hard to balance the bosses because of the potential power you missed out on or having to much power. Most bosses are either laughable easy with summons, or impossible difficult without them. That makes it hard not to just say ♥♥♥♥ it and summon on all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bosses the game throws at you. Summoning completley ruins the gameplay and them having to balance around them with the bosses makes people not trying to summon have a horrible time. But when the boss is fair and I don't want to summon this game is truly one of the best games I have ever played. The world is so fun to explore and has so much hidden in it you'll probably have to play the game a couple times to see it all. This game is a must play, but be aware of the difficulty and don't be ashamed at summoning or abusing cheese strats if this is your first souls like. Have fun the way you want to.

Amazing card rouge-like along the lines of slay the spire. The game is also a lot like The Binding Of Issac because of the amount of RNG dependent your run is. This is a huge pro for me and a huge turn off for others. Just be advised when buying this game. The sound effects and the big number getting bigger is just so addictive.

The game having just released still has issues and problems. My biggest complaint is that there's only 1 track of music in the entire game, so put on your own playlist and turn the music in game off. The way the game was made works well but I don't think poker fully fits the idea of card builds, like slat the spire. Getting a high card is too easy while getting a royal flush is nearly impossible. The builds that are most viable are flushes and full houses. It feels like most builds take too much setup or planing to be as good as thoughs 2.

Despite all of my complaints this game is a must play for rouge-like fans like myself.

Pizza Tower, itsa mastapiz. The art style and sound track are so memorable plus the very tight game play. The game also does not waste your time and respects the player. The game takes roughly 7-8 hours to beat. The only complaint would be that every time you reload in the game it spawns you back on the first floor and you have to climb back to the top. My Favorite level was the last one funnily enough. The FNAF level was funny as is, but then when you get a shotgun and start shooting the fnaf characters it was very satisfying. Especially as someone who never really got the hype. Must buy, you will not regret it.

A beautiful game with a lot of great characters (not you zote) and memorable locations. Memorable music (my favorite is the main theme/green path). Getting upgrades in this game felt really meaningful and worth while which made exploration worth your time. The parts of the game i didn't vibe with all too well is the story and the backtracking. This games story is way too cryptic and gives you not a lot of information about what exactly is going on within the hollownest. The benches were always away from the bosses requiring you to walk through the same area over and over again. This game is a must play.
