This game is what fans of Pokemon have deserved for years. This is what Nintendo would have done if they weren't so lazy about the games and comfortable with their cash-grab tactics. I love it and will be playing plenty of this game. It's fun with friends, competitors, and solo. Using the pals to help at base is awesome, and this is early release! I can't wait to see what other additions are brought to this already awesome game

I may change my review later. I'll come back to this game and try again, but the story is filled with plot holes, the base building is different but kinda simple and lame, difficulty is erratic, weapons and kills are kinda disappointing. The creatures are really cool looking, and very creative. The intensity of cave diving is thrilling. There are other redeeming qualities, but not quite enough for me to come back to it yet. Maybe soon though

I LOVE THIS GAME SO FAR! Character models are unbelievably creative. The horror aspect is there, but it's not a jumpscare horror. IDK how to describe it, because it's almost like dreading what's to come, but it's still exciting and fun. The difficulty is up there for sure, and heavily encourages team play. I'm a fan of that. I'm not sure how the invasion stuff works quite yet, I seem to get invaded by the same 2 people every time I've been invaded so far. Then the invaders seem to spawn in strange places, including literally on top of me. That strangeness aside though, I'm loving this game and all it has to offer.

Nostalgia at its finest! If you played PS1 Spyro, this doesn't disappoint. Same story, same play, just updated. I felt like a kid on Saturday morning with a bowl of cereal playing one of the best games that came from PS1 era.

This game was pretty good, until Age of Wonders 4 came out. This game now is a shadow. Everything this game does, Age of Wonders 4 has done way better. Don't waste your money here.

This game astounds me with how deep it is for what looks like a simple RTS game. I love the skins, the adjustments to skins based on spells, the varying spells, the fact that several items exist and spells, and none of them seem like other items/spells in the game with different skins. Each selection actually makes a significant difference. You can have short games, long games, and anything in between. This game is a blast with friends especially

"We can't keep this up" A quote from the devs about the health decline of the game getting worse due to lack of attention. Instead of giving the health of the game attention, they aim for more money. The game will continue to decline. Has been for years now and they've said they know why, we've told them why, and they refuse to change.

I used to love this game. Unfortunately the developers don't listen very well to it's player base. I'm a killer main, and I have loved Pyramid Head since release. There have been zero adjustments to him since release. I can't have fun with him because his play style, add-ons, and perk combos leave only 1 or 2 different builds and survivors know the builds. This makes for extremely boring play. New players don't get generator slowing perks without buying past the paywall. The fixes that they finally implement, have been fixes people have been asking for, for YEARS. There are so many more issues, but this post is already pretty long.
DBD is a money grab now, and that's at it's best. Don't buy it if you're new, it's wasted money. Just wait for the next asymmetrical game that will top it. It's been almost 10 years, so I'm sure something will come out soon

The amount of things you can do in this game are amazing. Unlike RDR2 where you have to put up with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ kids, in here: Kill the little bastards. Love it. I love that I can be good, evil, neutral, and anything in between. I love dialogue differences based on class and race. This game is very well thought through by the devs. There are some pretty noticeable bugs/glitches occasionally, but in my experience it's all visual. Haven't found a mechanical bug yet. I haven't been this impressed by a game in a long time

When I bought the game, one of the big selling points was that they weren't going to be doing "paid content releases". WTF happened to that? Game isn't worth your time or cost. It's repetitive, nothing unique about your character, repetitive, story is subpar, and there isn't much to the world itself. Everything always spawns in the same spot, each map is the same, dungeons don't really vary, portal fights are limited in style, did I mention it's repetitive? I wish I could get my money back.

It's simple and fun. Taunts that allow others to join are hilarious. There is definitely a cheating issue, but it's actually pretty easy to ignore if you just enjoy the campiness of the game and not the competition alone.
