Never before have I finished a story driven game like this and immediately thought I want to do it again. I also found out that I will be fine with my kid risking their life, so um not sure what to think about that one. 9.9/10, definitely recommended so buy it and if it takes you three years to finish that is okay.

This is a recommendation long in the making. I decided to pick up control because I wanted to play with superpowers. It is not that it is more than just having powers and exploring them fully. It is a world that makes so much sense and is so logical while being completely disconnected from reality.

So why is this long in the making? I had a rough first half of the game and then I met phillip. I couldn't leave him, I had save him so I died and died and died and died. Then I restarted the game with combat assist on and slowly turned it down as I got better. Phillip may have broken me, but I came back because this game is so well constructed.

So I recommend this game as an amazingly fun, interesting, and complex game that makes you want to engage the world. With the caveat of don't be afraid to look up help, or turn down the difficulty. It can be quite a learning curve because all the rules are different and that makes it so much fun and so frustrating. If you're like me and want to get a game that you'll get your money's worth from this is one of them. I have yet to see a game that leans as heavily as this one into its story and gameplay at the same time.

An Arkham Game, also mods. No, story wasn't my favorite but I've got over 200 hrs and I enjoyed 95+% of it.

Welcome to Mordor, you'll need a deathless buddy guide and a few super powers to survive. I enjoyed the story and it was quite well paced. Most replay-ability comes from the nemesis system that is funish but disconnected from the story flow. overall 4.5/5 plus the lore is a fun addition to the Middle Earth canon.

When I first played this I agreed with everyone on here who hates it. When I say first time I mean the 15 retries before I gave up. I learned online that the trick is to take them out quickly before the area shrinks and to be very aware of movement. After I mastered Arkham combat(completing every AC challenge map as batman) I came back to this and am able to do it in one or two tries. I do appreciate harder combat, but this is done in the worst way. All that needs done is take away the lazers and floor electrocution and replace it with a timer(like a bomb). Other than that it is rather meh, though I will always take an opportunity to beat up riddler more. Not worth the purchase.

It is a good game for some casual pvp and has good mechanics. The whole class system is a lot of fun and really the reason I keep playing.
