The best

The sequel of the Forest. A lot of improvements over the Forest - fire arms (shotgun, hand gun, sniper rifle) and their modifications, better construction options, better graphic, two very capable companions (Kevin and Virginia), better transportation (glider, golf cart, zip line).
The only negative - the story is not completed yet (there are some pieces that need to be assembled together).

I have voted the game for 2003 GOTY award but I hate the BG3 game mechanics - short/long rests/some skills are to be reset all the time/how many action points left/dice visualization - a complete mess and immersion breaking for me. I really like DOS2 and I hope modders will come with similar to DOS2 mechanics for BG3.
If you have never played DOS, DOS2 or BG3, just go for DOS2 (Divinity: Original Sins 2) Enhanced edition first.

If you like Rimworld but do not like its graphic (like me), Stranded: Alien Dawn is the great substitute for you.

The game is very good!!! It is like watching an interactive movie. The graphic quality is superb. The story is outstanding. I do not like zombie games and riding bikes /auto in any game but this one was very enjoyable.
The developers did not spoil the game with any bad mini-game, there are a few and you can avoid them if you want (instant kill, for example).
I do recommend the game - 10/10. Even if you do not like zombie games (like me) you still will like Days Gone. There are only three hordes you must kill and it is not very complicated. You can change difficulty settings any time. I was comfortable at normal difficulty through the whole game.

I am surprised the game got GOTY award. Everything is shouting that it is ported from a playstation to PC.
The game path is linear, it is not up to open-world games we already used to on PC.
Controls - you need to remap them right away and then you will be a piano artist. I had my wrist pain just after one hour of playing. You have to manage two characters - Kratos and his son simultaneously. I learned the team combat but you have to shoot arrows all the time anyway and it is constantly pressing "f". Why is he not smart to shoot arrows at his will?
It has everything- platforming/jumping/climbing, boat traveling - all that I hate but thankfully it was not done deeply enough.
The god - Kratos is very weak and his son is invincible. All major fight is like Kratos is running in circles and his son deals with enemies.
I pushed myself playing for 26 hours and I will happily delete it and will not play again.

The game is in the early access but the quests (and related game mechanics) are extremely bad.
1. Fishing is number one to be the worst. Non-realistic, counter-intuitive game mechanic makes it difficult to get the river fish. Some players made 100s attempts to get ONE RIVER fish.
2. Xmas tree. You need to find the box (some could not even find it - spoiler -> it is just behind the church on the cliff). Another problem to understand that you need to illuminate ANOTHER Xmas tree but not the one in the church.
3. Mine disarming. When you are drunk you become explosive expert - what? You cannot use a grenade without emptying a bottle. Also the land mine does not have a timer in a real life. The developers made a bad mini-game out of that: timed defusing.
Etc.
I do not thing the devs will change it and hence the game will be mediocre at best.

The game is ok for its price(discounted) . Nothing special but playable.
There are a lot to improve. You cannot simply replace the construction elements - you need to deconstruct sometimes more than 2 elements to replace wooded by metal wall for example.
There is no auto feeder to industrial units - you have to do one by one.
Timed quests are not really good - if you are a bum, why should you care about timing? I had to skip almost all timed quest but there is the last one on the main quest (triangulation) which you cannot skip and I just stopped playing at the time.
I would also see the split for aluminium and copper in a proper way (cans for aluminium, for example). Plastic also can be used for decoration items. As it is currently - it does not make much sense to collect plastic bottles, plastic chairs, etc. Decor should lead to morale increase (health recovery), may be?
Why do you need 5 bases? One is more than enough (I had everything on one base).

Even without the sex part (which is great), I did enjoy the story line. Waiting for part 2.
The story is about 20 hour play (or better say read) time.

I have changed my mind after playing for 1000 hours (and I have changed from "recommended" to "not recommended"). The game has major technical problems: lag detected/disconnects may severe hinder your game experience (like really badly - you may have lag detected/disconnect/respawn screen every 15 minutes). Devs do not listen to players at all. This could be a good game has dark future. I would definitely avoid buying the new DLC.

1. It is very flexible, you can do whatever you want and play like you want.
2. Teleport-transportation cost was adjusted and it is not an issue now. Just have one tool with the azoth perk and you are well set. I have azoth always at the cap of 1000 just by cutting trees with azoth perked axe.
Moreover, the devs confirmed that mounts are coming.
3. Storage space is less an issue. You can use storages in all settlements (1000+ for each). Plenty of storage room plus storage upgrades available plus houses with 12K+ storage space in total.
4. The editions - the difference is in only cosmetic items, just go for a basic one. You can buy cosmetics later if you want.

I played the game at the free weekend. I had a mix feeling about the game. The graphics is good (modern).
It reminded me WoW, the first time I played but improved one. However, there are so many negative points:
- very limited storage; you can increase it with your own house room but still;
- you need to pay the house upkeep cost (I figured out later that you may not need to pay it but you do not get perks for the week you do not pay; which is ok);
-the strong negative for me was that you need to pay for teleportation with azoth (I prefer to avoid games where you need to pay for teleports);
-you need to have a party to go to dungeons; as I understood there is no automatic way to get into a party. Players were writing in online chat "looking for a healer". This profession is the most unpleasant to play in my view. The heal targeting is awkward. It is even hard to heal yourself compared to other games;
-on-board missions are not really interesting.
In spite of all these negative points I was thinking to buy the game. The world is really beautiful. Nobody can attack you in the open (similar to WoW). There were some PvP actions I was not interested in. You can choose any specialization you want and even have multiple roles. It is mainly related to the weapon skills which you can easily gain by using the specific weapon. So I went to the buy screen to see three options with different prices but there was no explanation how they are different - standard, deluxe and azoth. This was the point at which I decided NOT to buy the game but I may recommend it to players who like open world MMORPG.
