The Gallery is a fun and thought-provoking FMV game. You play as Morgan, an art gallery owner, either in 1981 or in 2021. What is different from many games, though, is the gender-swapping: in 1981 Morgan is female and in 2021 Morgan is male. Likewise, the nemesis of both art gallery owners is Dorian, male in 1981 and female in 2021, who takes Morgan hostage. Your choices, and whether you choose to appease or defy your captor, sometimes have tragic consequences for both yourself and some of the supporting cast. I've played through twice, once for each timeline, and look forward to discovering other endings and twists. A fantastic game overall, with strong acting, quality dialogue, and a disquieting illustration of the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Great concepts, great art, not perfectly executed. I love the many combat mechanics at play here. I like how there are many stats and ways to customize your characters, including voice, though the stats seem a bit unnecessarily bloated (for example, the 10 stamina = 1 bar, and 5=1/2 bar). The UI could use some polishing - sadly that probably won't happen now. I understand its supposed to be difficult, some of the challenge just seems like arbitrary limitation. For example, why start on the hunter you ended your turn with? This hunter has to move around the others if they are grouped, reducing their movement range, and so I have to select another one. Why are they able to use healing items at full health? And why are they able to attack thin air? I've played for only 3 hours, and already seen an invincible bat swarm (thankfully, not aggressive), which raised that question. Why does removing a charm destroy it? So many mysteries yet to discover...

As ARPG:s go there are fare superior games out there:
- Path of Exile
- Grim Dawn
- Diablo 3
- Titan Quest
- Torchligght 2

If you're looking for a warhammer lore fix while enjoying some gameplay. Buy an audiobook and play a better game. The lore is middling at best and the gameplay is boring. I first picked up this game around launch, it felt like a flawed gem. But since launch (almost 1 year as of writing) there has been a few more acts (1-3 hours of gameplay) a new character and e few minor tweaks. But no larger fixes to some of the fundamentally broken skills and gearsets. I would not recommend, not even on a sale

Okay, read carefully.

Pathfinder Kingmaker is a VERY specific game for a VERY specific player and probably nobody else. By this I mean if you're a veteran of games like Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, Neverwinter Nights etc, then you will most likely enjoy your experience here. That being said, if you haven't experienced an Isometric RPG before you will probably be returning this game and crying on Steam.

This game requires an immense amount of (real) patience and not the kind required for a crappy, buggy game. When I say this I mean you need to read the in game prompts, you need to study your available scrolls and spells and abilities and you need to work and rework character formations during and after combat.

If you haven't played other Isometric RPGs and have no experience with Dungeons and Dragons or Pathfinder, then pass on this game, odds are you will not enjoy it.

Also, the story is told very well and the voice acting is spot on. The characters feel believable and endure some real world difficulties for themselves. As far as a Kickstarted game goes, Owlcat absolutely killed it. They are constantly fixing things and working hard to make this gem as polished as it can be. If you've read my other reviews you will know how rare it is for me to write a strong review like this. As far as Iso RPGs go, this is a 9.5 to 9.75. Remember not every game caters to ever gamer. Expecting this to be a hack and slash dungeon crawler with rogue like elements will leave you dissapointed and angry. (I say the previous very sarcastically)

Give it a chance you might like it...

Also this game is incredibly punishing when you aren't prepared for the fights you encounter. Going into any fight with anything other than almost full health and a full spellbook is a recipe for disaster.

Enjoy and good luck.

I was very curious about this game at first and the graphics are really nice. There are some nice science fiction elements in it too and a strong feeling of oppression similar to Half Life 2. The enemies are everywhere and they are technologically superior which could make them very threatening and satisfying to overcome.

However Homefront The Revolution has a serious difficulty balancing problem which makes the game frustrating to play. The story and characters are kind of crappy and boring too while the gunplay is a bit janky and unreliable.

They were trying to go for a kind of guerrilla warfare style with the combat but it’s just not implemented well enough. It really seems like it’s gonna be a fun and interesting game at first but it actually gets quite frustrating and boring pretty quickly.

I came back to it twice to try and finish the campaign but in the end I just lost interest. It's a game that shows a lot of potential but just fails in some fundamental ways like being satisfying and fair in it's gameplay.

If you're deep into GWENT you'll have a blast with this one like me. But if you're new to it can't really say it's for you. Could have been a seriously epic game kinda like Inscryption's endgame but it doesn't quite make it. Not enough different types of enemies. Could do with more maps events and interactions too. Sort of feels like Inscryption but doesn't hit that wow factor. Kinda feels like it should have come free with the GWENT game instead of being its own thing. Few things that bother me: You're always up first which means the NPC gets the last move and that's a big plus for them. When that last move hits you don't always get what just happened cause the defeat screen is all up in your face. If you're new or not too sure about a card it can be hard to follow the last move. Feels like the NPC gets the luck of the draw way too often (maybe this last one is just me).

In my opinion, I think Walter Machado should have taken all the eight Ubermosh games (including this one), and combined them into a single experience:

One game which includes all maps from the previous games, all modifiers, all modes, all saints, etc., and which also includes basic options found in other indie games such as volume controllers for the game's music and sound effects, and the ability to switch between windowed and full-screen mode using an in-game option (instead of having to rely on Alt + Enter).

Such a polished product might be worth USD $5 at full price, and I would recommend you get such a product ONLY on sale. Unfortunately, that game - that "Ubermosh Definitive Edition" - will most likely never exist. Thus, I think I would only recommend you get any of the games in the Ubermosh series ONLY whenever they cost around $0.25 or less.

I do think they are decent twin-stick arcade bullet hell mini-games, after all.

"Seriously, do your desktop a favor!"
I can't remember the last time I was so impressed by a software. It simply does work flawless perfectly and your wallet doesn't even care. You would expect that Win10 should have integrated this "standard" feature - but it doesn't... Nice job, Kristjan Skutta!

Pros:
+ great piece of software
+ very good user interface
+ doesn't need steam to run!
+ Razer Chroma & iCUE plugin
+ application rules for "game-mode"
+ over 900.000 wallpapers in the workshop
+ low system workload (depends on settings/design)

Cons:
- none <3

Verdict:
Does its' job perfectly fine, every day.

The game is actually good and has an satisfying gameplay. There is nothing wrong with the game expect for its price. The price is definitely not worth the price, the game is very but very expensive if we look from the main perspective. I would buy the game again once the developers have changed the price. In my opinion the game should me atleast around 1 to 3 bucks.

An solid 7.5/10.

I checked the rat traps for food after 3 days of not eating and not finding anything canned when I raided my neighbors house and the kid's school. I found nothing in the traps and had to go out and shoot a stranger over a handful of vegetables.

Then I went home and played This War of Mine. It really helped take my mind off of it. 10/10.
