A lot of people say that this game is bad, i wouldn't say it is, i'd say its the opposite of bad. The gameplay was very good, all the different maps you go through had their own unique ways of killing your target and there was a lot of opportunities for different kills per map, the amount of random objects that you could pick up and use as weapons was great too (firearms included, i loved dual wielding Silverballers). Soundtrack and visuals, they were awesome, you couldn't get more badass than dual wielding guns and taking out multiple enemies at the same time while hearing the a badass choir in the background, the visuals were quite good from the time it was made and the game itself runs good on almost any PC so its not badly optimized. The story itself, this is what most people didn't like about the game because of the story itself of Absolution, personally i loved it, they tried something new with the game and i think they performed quite well in that aspect. All in all, this game was and still is one of the greatest and most underrated installments in the whole franchise and i would recommend buying this for the experience.

I bought this entry into the franchise a while ago and i've played it fully many times with a 100% completion rate with all achievements unlocked and never have had a dull moment while doing so, visuals are up to par with todays standards even with this game being released in 2015, lots of story content to go through with a big handful of sideops to complete, cutscene quality is very good and overall cinematics are good, the soundtrack and dialogue pieces are good too. I always play with stealth in mind and this game pretty much shows what a stealth game should have when it comes down to mechanics and npc design, there's many key components you have to keep in mind while infiltrating a base, what kind of uniforms you're bringing onto the field (camo uniforms, sneaking suits ect.) matter a lot, lighting, shadows, foliage, terrain, sound and many other components that make stealth fun, mobile, adaptive at times and can give players a challenge at times. Weapon mechanics are somewhat clunky at times for new players but most of the time if you know how the mechanics actually work they'll be fun to work with and can be smooth as butter. Also this game being available on PC makes it even better because of the modding platform the developers have given to the community to create their own mods and enjoy the game with a new look. Kojima did a great job developing this game and now we'll see what the new remastered MGS3 will look like. Overall a very good entry into the franchise, worth every cent.

This game is a criminal product, ever since the release it was buggy and full of problems, unfinished, a friend recommended to buy it and told me it was "another great installment into the franchise" wouldnt trust him again with any opinions when it comes down to game suggestions, if i could refund this game i would do it in a heartbeat. I most sincerely do NOT recommend this game if you want to save your wallet and sanity from endless suffering

Dont get me wrong, this game as a concept is great and they did a great job making the game, but the execution was planned poorly and they left out this game out to dry. It had so much potential with so many different updates that they couldve made since the game is set around WW2, updates that couldve included the eastern front (Operation Barbarossa) with the soviets and germans, could've had the Italian front aswell (Operation Husky) with italians and americans. So much potential wasted on a great idea

Can't even keep count on how many keyboards i've smashed because of this game, it's still fun though
