short and sweet.
as this stuff usually goes - the very last cat took me the longest (half of my playtime was dedicated to the last 2 cats), and thats at least partially cause i didnt want to use hints or anything like that
and yet, it was a very delightful 16 minutes. Clearly there was love and care poured into this lil game.
might buy the DLC next time i feel like i need another twenty minutes or so of peaceful cat searching

this game is such a delight.
absolutely glorious randomness and absurdity. from the style to the story it all seem so simple, and yet its absolutely OOZING with charm. I've chuckled through what felt like half my playtime and it seems like theres still so much more for me to find out even after the main storyline is over.
I recommend, nay URGE anyone who wants to have a goofy lil time with some goofy lil guys to play this absolute gem.
In the meantime I'll be here, looking for the last apple and convincing my friends to play co-op with me lol

it was good once, but it has fallen from grace,
like a rocking chair that once served as the vessel for many memories and stories, left on a porch for way too long. Fix it, give it some elbow grease and wood polish and it could serve a new generation, but Valve instead has left it in the rain. Now it's mouldy and brittle and gross.
I haven't played the game much, I haven't really sat in that rocking chair, so to speak, but those that I know and those that I don't have pointed out the cracks and the termites all over its surface.
Fix the chair, Valve, and we might sit in it once more.
until then - the game kinda sucks.

I have spent 11 hours playing, and dying, and playing again, only to die to the same exact bosses. I could almost start seeing the angler in my nightmares, whilst almost tasting victory TWICE...yet somehow it wasnt tiring. There's always a thrill to it, figuring out the strategy and hoping for the cards to lie in your favour, I got lost in the game over and over again...yet my journey is only beginning.
Even if you have seen others play it, if you can afford it I HIGHLY recommend playing it yourself cause its a completely different experience, creating your own army of squirrels or annihilating your adversary with your very OWN flying urayuli.
This has probably become one of my favourite games. ever.

while the sequel outshines it in many respects, the original game has one. major. advantage:
it was the first.
A pioneer, a game that gamers know even years later.
The nostalgia it brings, even though i only played it for the first time a couple years ago.
very important game.

i liked undertale since it first came out.
I watched my favourite youtubers play it. I watched other people doing all the routes and concocting theories.
the fandom taught me well of both the good and bad sides of fandoms, it taught me creativity and inspired some of my earliest lineart, which i did with a black felt tip.
Undertale changed me, I believe for the better.
and now...i finally have it in my posession.
theres....a strange feeling that comes with that...some kind of contentment, a closed loop...
Despite everything, I feel at peace.

not much needs to be said: its hollow knight. gorgeous visuals, good difficulty level, stellar soundtrack.

for years now i have been playing round with terraia's more popular sibling - minecraft. because I was quite happy with the content it gve me, I didn't even consider playing terraria, until two things happened: my minecraft launcher became outdated and I kept forgetting to update it, and a friend bought me the game for my birthday. With advice from friends, I started playing, and i have found the experience surprisingly extremely enjoyable! The world is interesting and the music and visuals please the senses (seriously, Rain affected me emotionally lol), but most importantly i liked the pacing: it starts slow as you get to know the world, but once you start getting used to it, it starts challenging you! bosses will eventually spawn once you reach requirements, forcing you to progress instead of stressing over if you have enough potions.
There's so much more I could say about the game, but here i'll just say: it's worth it.
