Hello there! I first and foremost want to get this outta the way really quick.... I DID NOT OBTAIN THIS GAME FOR FREE IT WAS PURCHASED UNDER MY OWN FREE WILL WITH MY OWN MONEY.


Secondly, i am a die hard Rally fan and i have been since i was a little child.

I have a lot to say about "ART OF RALLY".

Graphics : I chose to start with graphics because it is literally the worst thing about Art of Rally, and concidering the fact that the old school blocky art style of this game in my opinion is "COOL", "REFRESHING" and completely modernizes this game in some strange semi-arousing kind of way, only heading up in quality from here is a VERY good start.
The colors are FANTASTIC!!!! The scenery is FANTASTIC, the stages are all randomly generated with an endless possibility of tracks plus the game uses models of "REAL CARS" (with different names) that are super important and only add to the overall immersion. Car models from old Cosworths, Porsche, Lancia, Audi AND SO SO SO much more. I was very VERY pleased with the overall car selection :) And to cap it all off a very simple and easy on the eyes menu system makes for a pleasant experience outside of the car.

Music: The music is actually one of this games strongest points! Growing up in the 80s and early 90s i was exposed heavily to retro music. AND THIS GAME HAS NOTHING BUT RETRO !!!!!!!! Turn the volume up and prepare to get AN EAR FULL OF KEYTAR BABY LETS GOOOOOO!!!!!

Gameplay: Initially i was worried about the game play..... I usually find myself playing games like "Dirt Rally" and "Assetto Corsa" and didn't think this game had a chance in HELL of being anywhere close to as enjoyable as those games to play... BOY WAS I WRONG. This game has VERY good physics to go along with a relatively controlable steering system that makes for an overall very good game play experience. You don't need to be f**king Mario Andretti to play this game is what i'm getting at. To be honest i'm fairly confident that someone who has never played this game could pick Art of Rally up and within one night be drifting corners up a mountain in Japan somewhere.... DON'T BE SCARED HOMIE, THIS GAME IS ULTRA PLAYABLE FOR ANY SKILL LEVEL!!!!!!

Game play Options: Hmmmmm...... where to start??? Free roam mode? yes. Campaign mode?? YES! Time attack mode?? YESSSS!! Custom Rally mode?????? YESSSSSSSSS! ONLINE EVENTS?!?!?! YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

Price: .... This was a little touchy for me.... The game is rather expensive for a plain and simple indie game, however with that being said....... QUALITY OVER QUANTITY ANY DAY! I paid 30$ for this game and have not had a single regret about a single penny! Money well spent if u ask me! And if my 30$ is gunna go towards helping this kick ass DEV. make future badass games like this then i'm all for it!


CONS!!!!!!! YES CONS! This game does have some things that in my opinion are lacking, nothing major.... But perhaps in the future they can be worked on.... Things like car camera views, the game only has about 7 views and they are ALL CHASE CAMS which kinda sucks but i understand the chase cam just fits the feel of the game. However maybe a bumper cam, or a roof cam would be a solid edition. Also i would love the chance to modify vehicles. Not large scale just things like rims, body kits, and suspension.

OVERALL i am going to give this game a 8.5/10 !!!!! DON'T JUST SIT THERE MAN, YOU NEED TO LEARN THE "ART OF RALLY"! -Thanks Pat.
