As close to a triple A title a double A can get to in terms of production value. The game values gameplay more so than the actual dialogue and the cut-scenes which feels uncanny and meh. The gameplay however, really its strong suite and has a decent arsenal for you to invest into. The puzzles were really creative admittedly and had me actually think on how to solve them. There are points that you do feel that slavjank dna baked in its core however. Ive gotten stuck on areas that forced me to reload but those were few and far between, i Had only 1 hard crash when looting a bot in my playtime but these were things i came to expect from a AA title from russia

If you are willing to look past the optimization issues, this game is pretty good.

Dead space didnt need a remake but here we are. They did nail mostly everything about it, just more dead space on the Frostbite engine. Be warned though if you do care, the game does have Denuvo, but for some reason, they cant be bother with listing it on the steam page. It barely affects performance though but it should be said

Amazing entry that out of any first entry games, this one could use a remake. AI is garbage but that was to be expected back in the day when it first released. a good time sink for a game that is best played on the controller as the hand-to-hand combat is horrible on MnK but aside from that, it holds good nostalgia value if you played back then as well.

A very good, well put together first person slasher for a smaller title. I enjoyed every aspect of the weapons and reaching the point of becoming unstoppable. Making the map almost feel too small but by the time you reach that, the game is probably already over. The theme being both conan and metal put together and being its own unique identity, i hope the devs can continue something like this with a bigger scale if possible

Its hard to place this DLC cause either you are the type of player that has completely mastered the mechanics of the game and you can easily clean rooms. Or you are the type of player that comes into this for the fun and gameplay and will wonder why the hell some of these arenas are taking so long to clear, why is there fighting in these tight quarter areas? Part 2 remedied that i think with it being more along with the base game. Part 1 however, will either make you or break you and with nightmare, will really test your patience.

You will not finish this on Ultra nightmare without significant practice with some filters and with the final boss so take that as you will. I had fun seeing my progress from start to finish but that final boss man... Absolutely terrible design, from arena to mechanics.

Long answer: Go buy it

The story is a complete mess. Luckily, the solid gameplay is what carries the game. CitC DLC is just an arena shooter for you to quickly realize its just the BRC arena cause thats all you will be going for and then forgetting this DLC. Burial at sea, for some reason, the damage is scaled drastically high for the AI to erase you quickly, but that is on hard difficulty. Episode two's story is just as messy but again, the gameplay is worth trying and at least seeing the artistic direction the game took.

Overall, the game's story is a disaster with the team had lost their direction and just took from a little bit of every idea and this was what we got. Again, the gameplay is still good, just a different take on the franchise as you no longer have all your guns with you and should specialize in what plasmids and guns you want to use together. Undertow + shock jockey was just disgustingly effective for nearly everything.
