Even if it's a tiny amount.

I have been reluctant to upgrade to a premium account. I have been thinking about doing it solely for the ability to trade and gift but at the same time, not only did Valve take their sweet time fixing the bot crisis but one of the things they did to stop bots from posting chat messages or mic-spamming was deny F2P accounts access to these features. Surprise, surprise, it didn't work but they have yet to revert the change. It was a stupid change as not only can F2Ps not use chat but they also cannot do critical things like call for Medic or use the strategic call voicelines - which negatively affects the entire team.

Between the flawed (but addictive) balancing issues of the game, Valve's incompetence in handling the bot crisis and them denying F2P accounts voice chat, I do not want to give Valve any more of my money.
