1/15/2025 7:14 AM: i pulled my first cs2 knife today, a safari mesh field tested kukri knife. - 165 euros value.
i have spent 900 euros on cs2 cases in the past week (i just started playing this game). Something even more insane happend though, i had about 60£ left when i got the knife (started at 200£). Now in this scenario, a smart man would have quit and have profited 80 euros. But me? I kept going, and just as i had spent it all, i had done my math wrong, and accidentally bought 2 extra cases, so what do i do? I add five more bucks to my account, and in the very last 2 cases i pull the following back to back: A MW heritance ak (150 euros) and a pink lotus FT (15 euros). this made me profit 2x as much as if i had quit after getting knife. So what did we learn from this? 99% of gamblers quit RIGHT before their big win, but i'm that 1% ♥♥♥♥♥♥ who keeps going and actually wins. I probably didn't deserve this, and many experienced csgo players have prob gambled thousands for years without getting ♥♥♥♥, what can i say? Beginners luck ig.

(i ofc opened a lot of cases before the knife though, and got lucky with import skins beforehand which is why i ended up with a profit in total).

So in conclusion, i am glad to say that i have profited, how much? i don't know quite yet, in a week i can check my inventory networth, but i'm guessing it's at least 100 euros profit in total. I achieved my goal of unboxing my very own knife, i tried gambling, and came out on the other side on top. This luck is abnormal, do not expect to get the same results as me. When it comes to case openings, do it because you genuinely enjoy it, not for profit. I like to think of the money i spend as gone the moment i confirm the transaction, this makes you feel comfortable in case you lose it all. So yeah, this has been my short gambling experience, i will never do ts again, although i do not regret my actions!
