Dead by Daylight is, at its core, a fantastic game.
Issues however, are rampant, both within the game itself, and with regards to Behaviour Interactive.

Dead by Daylight; plagued by horrific servers, net-code and hit-boxes. Utterly clueless developers; more concerned with the banning of players for a couple of offensive words, alongside cashing in on cosmetics. In conjunction with the production of both unbalanced, and uninspired DLC content. Than they are with the longevity and improvement of a game full of potential.

Contrary to how the above may portray my viewpoint, I neither hate Dead by Daylight, nor BHVR. In fact, my actual playtime sits at 745 hours as of writing this review.
My review will be changed to positive once the following criteria are met:
The dedicated servers are truly fixed, and brought to an acceptable standard for a game of this scale. And, BHVR no longer subscribe to an anti-free speech agenda, headed by radical SJWs.
I truly believe neither of these will ever change, not without a complete revamp of both the product and its producers. Therefore, while I may enjoy this game. It will forever remain negatively scrutinised.

Oh yeah hitboxes are a joke. Nurse post blink and huntress are probably the worst offenders!

It's a great game at heart. But it's being driven into the ground by the devs. They have no clue how to balance the game, on either side, as the majority of them haven't even hit green ranks (not kidding you can check their achievements and see). They are also far too focused on cosmetics, dull dlc, policing our activities, looking good in the public eye, drawing in more players (usually with poorly thought out licensed DLC) and making even more revenue. Than they are with changes and content which would show real and meaningful improvement to the game as a whole!

I mean. I didn't expect to be perma-banned by these dogshit devs did I? Even according to their own rules I was only justified a 3 day ban (at most). I'm currently in the process of an appeal and will likely be unbanned. Even if I'm not I don't really care at this point. To me this just acts as more incentive to play as I now have a goal again. Get off your high horse, you just look like a pretentious twat.

I enjoy the product. Also you can bet your ass I didn't support them. Bought a CD key so they get nothing, also saves me money too.
