I'll update this at a later point if the other gamemodes are good, so far this only covers the campaign.

It was a pretty cool experience, it took me a while to understand everything fully, but once I learned what works well I was blasting through the levels quickly.

The gameplay loops looks something like this:

- Level Selection
In the level selection you get to pick between a couple different ships to claim, you can see its "difficulty", ship type, the systems inside (although only with icons, meaning you'll have to memorize them.), the payout, timer, enemy types, and challenges. The only thing you cannot see is the ships internal layout.
- Preparation
In the preparation phase, you are inside a small ship just outside the enemy ship, you can view the internal layout from here, which is: locked and unlocked doors, entrances to the ship, system locations, and enemy locations. During this, you can spend as much time as you need to plan out your strategy, and change your kit dependent on what you think would suit it best.
- Raid
When you leave the ship and confirm your selections of gear, the mission timer begins and you enact the strategy that you came up with. You can view the map at any time, and set waypoints on where you want to go next, removing the hassle of memorizing the layout.

Features I like and dislike:

+ The gunplay is very enjoyable, all the guns feel responsive, and most enemies are fun to face.

- All equipment is bound by the cash you earn; the items you have access to are bound by how well you perform. Generally this is not an issue, but if you aren't very good it stings a lot.

- New equipment is locked behind earning "research nodes" inside of ships that waste your time to earn, lowering your overall cash earned, AND are random.
(IMO, a better system for this would to add research points that you put into an equipment tree of sorts, there is so much equipment I never used because they were outclassed significantly by others.)

+ The art and overall look of the game is appealing to me.

+ The voice acting is pretty good.

- Later stages have so much enemy and projectile spam that it is difficult to understand whats happening at times. (might just be a skill issue.)

I overall enjoyed the campaign, however, my experience was quickly ruined by the final mission. The final ship has every internal system to destroy and multiple of some, making it horribly difficult to begin with, a HUGE mass of enemies, a system that blocks the use of the map, and very little entrances.
