There is something special about Generation 1. If it wasn't for it, none of the other great shows or movies would have come along. Good old G1 is the best for me too. As long as the spirit of Transformers is kept alive from the past G2 to the now War in Cybertron, I'm more than satisfied too.

Those are pretty solid. I grew up with Armada too and then the movies and animated came later but I got into Generation 1 before I saw Animated and Prime. Nothing tops G1 and those are all pretty solid versions in my opinion. I think the War for Cybertron series comes the closest to G1 outside of G2 of course.

Your welcome! I can see why you think highly of the 1986 Transformers movie. Compared to the other movies that followed, it was the most faithful to the original series. You got a point about the different iterations since I grew up more with Armada, Prime, and the Animated series.

Thanks! The 1986 Transformers movie is my favorite animated movie of all time. Generation 1 is still king and it looks like it will always will be. That's not to say there aren't other good Transformer eras/iterations though.
