firstly, disabling drones makes getting clawtrapped a lot harder, and makes the sm have to either wait out a timer or have to replace it which means physically having to go to the disabled drone. secondly, disabling a drone in active mode puts it back to stealth mode, which has a far slower rotation speed, where its far easier to dodge and far more feasible to crouch under. thirdly, disabling a drone and forcing sm to replace the drone buys you more time when you are broken or forces her to not slow you down with a drone, and she is essentially powerless (1 person speedboost is less than t1 bloodlust)
