Very good game so far. Graphics and style work perfectly. Music is really decent. Good gameplay, easy to get into. Promising roadmap and consistent updates (usually monthly, occasionally even weekly). The concept of being allowed to play anywhere in the world was brilliant and really helps you connect with the game. You're bound to have a lot of fun when you're fortifying your local area in a game.

Currently only issues I would have with this game is the lack of automation. Squads have to be manually controlled, which can turn into micromanagement pain as you try to order around 4 squads all doing different things at different rates. It'd be nice to also have a way of automating wood / metal / brick supply, perhaps with lumberjack or scavenger professions.

Another thing is the scaling difficulty. It absolutely needs an adjustable cap. I'm not sure if this was the intended effect but its a little discouraging to make zones when I know at some point it'll be overpowered, and that most of my attention will have to go into defending. Instead of making players have to focus on building up first and then defences, I think it would better to do the opposite. If I'm meant to rebuild civilisation, then defence should become a side concern, at least later into the game.

Other than that, its a decent game, and I absolutely would recommend. Would love to see what becomes of this game after early access.

its not the best Battlefield but its still fun. I'd recommend a try, there's always the refund option

It was an OK game until the introduction of microtransactions.

Game had very clear and straight forward tutorial.
Mechanics were great; imagine Mount and Blade but in space. You start alone, and slowly build up your fleet with your own ships.
A very active dev (working alone!) who brings constant good updates out.
Very nice and peaceful community.

Worth the purchase

An amazing game and I'd highly recommend. One of the few games to understand that DLCs are optional and not basegame content put behind paywalls.

I wanted to believe this was a good DLC.

But with the clunky building mechanics, missing prefabs and structures (that I'm honestly shocked Bethesda missed), and the terrible lag that comes from placing 5 of the under-powered lights you get in this DLC, it's safe to say you should avoid this one.

good DLC, but

if you want to change your city's districts to green specialization, DON'T do it all at once. For some reason it demolishes buildings instead of replacing them, so the whole population vanishes. Learnt it the hard way
